I’m still cautious optimistic about this game, but I really just hope it doesn’t end up another walking simulator with a very very abstract story.
Ah gotcha, so are games that are only at Gamescom nominated then? I would thought the likes of Last of Us or Death Stranding would be on there. Thank you kindly for the clarification.
It’s was just a question there dude.
How are the majority of these games up for rewards if they’re not out yet?
@Elda I do hope the rumors of them finally bringing the SNES titles to their online service is true this fall. Unless you like Indies... and I mean really like them, or playing on the go, then there’s no reason to jump in just yet.
@Ratchet75 it’s still hard for third party publishers to go full exclusive on a game for any console let alone a Nintendo one. I would too like to see something from Capcom, Sega, or another western developer get involved more but I agree righ...
Obviously if you’re not into Nintendo games it’s understandable, but there are a couple of non-Nintendo game exclusives I thought were (or should be good) in Octopath, Marvel Alliance, and Astral Chain. But I could definitely understand it’s hard to justify a console purchase on just a game or two. For me, it’s just been really nice to play a surprisingly amount of current gen ports and some indie games I would have never gotten around to, if it weren’t for the portability.
Interesting, I didn’t really dig into it as it’s way out of price range and I don’t except to see any native 8k stuff anytime soon. But good to know!
I saw my first 8k video/demo at our local bestbuy about two weeks ago on a Samsung 65”. It looked good but outside of it looking a little brighter I probably would have never known it was 8k outside of seeing its $6k price tag.
There is nothing statistically different (or better) than what this administration has done than what the previous administration did from economic standpoint except taking the baton at the end of race where you were already in first place.
Nothing like solving a problem you create... which seems to be mainly this administrations game plan.
This was my first video game my parents ever bought me. I was only about 7 or 8 and beating the various difficult areas was near impossible for me. I would ask some of the older kids around the neighborhood if they could get me past death mountain, or ask my much older cousin when he came to visit my older brother, if he could get past Thunderbird for me. I somehow ended doing all of those things on my own and I’ll never forget the thrill of beating that game. To this day is still one of al...
EA and Nintendo have had “frosty” relationship since the SNES, due to marketing practices where Nintendo would release their 1st party games along side 3rd party games during the holiday season.
But this really stems from the Frostbite engine and how frustratingly unscalable/in-portable it is. If EA was running UR4, I have no doubt they would publishing games for Nintendo. But it is a money issue, porting games away from their current frostbite engine would probably cause ...
Man this made my head hurt. Nothing like a bunch of morons running a very very profitable company... for over 100yrs...
I don’t know, normally I would agree with you especially given how so many snippets need context, but growing up a passive aggressive racist household, a lot of what he says is very familiar. Though for me, it ends up being a lot about what he doesn’t say, after he says/does something that’s a borderline not cool thing to say. But I definitely see where you’re coming from on the whole media thing
I think any one with a business degree or background knew exactly what they were getting, a person who makes rash decisions, puts value behind a name without substance, and has had multiple bailouts because of his poor decisions.
@GtPawn no BBs or paintball? That is strict and odd. The cops checking on how your guns are stored is also something we should adapt here too. Too many of these kid mass shooting killers get there guns very easily from their parents stash. It should mandated that guns be locked up in approved and secure gun safes. Also I do believe parents should be charged if their gun(s) are used in any sort of killing (single or mass). This all very interesting stuff, thank you guys for sharing!
@warriorcase my god, you guys put us to shame. I have no idea why we can’t adapt the same sort of policies here. I come from a very pro gun background, my dad hunts constantly, deer, elk, turkey, ducks, quail and “tried” to teach me to hunt... it never quite clicked with me. But it helped at least understand gun ownership, I haven’t gone to the “ban all guns” mantra that some here have, though we’re making an increasing effort to make that a realistic case. there is zero point for the high c...
@profchaos interesting. I thought there was something that happened after the New Zeland shooting, in response to what NZ passed. How do you all enforce the licensing for reason? Would it be easy/hard to lie on the licensing need? We could use a system like that here... too many people with ARs playing pretend military, or zombie apocalypse.
Dam... that’s harsh... but true.
From all the videos I’ve seen this far, it seems the frame rate has been really stable. That for me is the biggest key for a game like this. You know the graphics are going to take a hit for the portability, but terrible frame rates can easily make or break an experience.
