I’ll never forget renting this game in high school and my mom walked in just as I cut a dudes throat in that opening area... so yeah, the whole, “what the “frack” are you playing?” talk happened.... ah memories.
Um donkey Kong country isn’t exactly easy. Breath of the Wild “can” be difficult depending on how you approach it. I didn’t find Super Odyssey terribly difficult though some of the later stages and the moons can be tough. But really outside of the Darksouls franchise I haven’t played anything that would make me say that these games are much “harder” than most Nintendo games.
I’m going to go with the big 3; internet anonymity, jealously, and misguided fear/anger.
For whatever they end of doing, for the love of god, put in a better freaking battery.
I’m actually fairly shocked it did THAT well. Outselling the PS4 at $200 and with Spider-Man is quite a feat. The smash bro numbers must be just insane. Good for Nintendo, I really do hope they stick to the hybrid format for their next iteration. It really is awesome to play so many good games both on the go or on the tv when needed.
Either way I think Nintendo will sell well this year, I’m not 100% convinced just yet they can completely outsell the PS4 (particularly globally) just yet. As a day one owner of both though, I can’t wait to see what the year unfolds, especially for the switch.
I would say that would depend on if the PS5 and or Xbox next is announced early this year. Secondly if PS4 doesn’t get a price cut.
If neither of those happen and Nintendo manages a few more 3rd party announcements along with a Pokémon 2019 release date, then I think could outsell the PS4 and or Xbox.
I don’t think this persons actions reflect anyone group outside of ridiculous customer group. I mean anyone who has ever worked retail knows people like this come in all shapes and sizes and will fly off the handle at the dumbest things
@Segata I think they call it trollish, usually only spoken by the younger, more inexperienced gamer.
I wanted this to be good, especially for the kids or friends to come over and play some old great titles. Where I understand why Sony choose the titles they did, mostly because they own little to if any of the IPs that made the PS1 great and 3rd party license fees obviously add up, I don’t understand why they choice to do such poor emulation of some of the included titles. Oh well, maybe one day we’ll at least get PS1 titles for the PS4 or even PS5.
I would whole heartedly agree with this reviewers opinion on the story/stories. There were only a couple of characters where I actually cared enough to pay attention to what was happening. None of them were bad, they just didn’t draw me in. But the battle system is FAR from boring, its easily one of the better turn based RPG battle systems I’ve played in a very long time. It’s easy enough to just pick up and play but complex enough (especially given awesome and wide variety of enemies) for...
While I want VR to be the next big thing, sales across all platforms have slowed waaaaay down this year. I’m interested to see how Sony did in this last quarter especially with their recent sales, but 2018 has not indicated VR is picking up on any platform... yet. It will interesting to see what Sony does on the PS5 with the PSVR or next PSVR.
Awesome! It would make sense too as those $200 PS4 Spider-Man bundles sold exceedingly well. The Switch at $300, which I can’t remember if it had good/great bundles during the black Friday weekend or not, obviously did extremely well too.
It’s technically not $50 as the headline would indicate but 25% off with a $25 amazon gift card.
Yes sorry epilogue. I agree having to press a button to do just about everything became a little tedious. I never could get into Arthur’s story arc really until the end when it seems his choices began to matter more. I’m glad a played it through, I just don’t feel the urge to be exploring it any further.
It’s a weird feeling playing something so beautiful and so well crafted, but have zero interest in the virtual world it’s set in. That being said I did enjoy the prologue far more than the main part of the game. I liked the missions and his story line far more.
I guess this “could” be possible as it may pertain to 3rd party use of the license or DLC. But there’s no way they do a mainstream one every year. I would love a remake of Zelda II in the hands of From Software
I might seriously get this. My Pro’s fan comes on all the time, so much so I just use headphones all the time. I’ve cleaned it and turned off boost mode but to no avail.
2020? Do they not understand how long a deployment of 5g will take? We’re talking another 5 possibly 10 years for good (close to full) nationwide coverage. A lot of 5g signal boxes will need to be installed first... and given how long it takes get through regulations in most states/cities, it’s not something that will happen overnight.
