We keep talking hoping they’ll actually improve and make games again, instead of just purchasing everyone else’s company and IPs. MS haven’t produced any games of significant value to the gaming community in some time. Just more and more services. All they care about is the eco-system we shop in, no true care for crafting top tier games.
And you don’t think annual CoD money to a smaller company have you doesn’t go on to support many of Sonys other 1st party projects? You’re daft if you don’t think putting the yearly #1 selling game on gamepass won’t hit Sony’s bottom line in a big way. Which in turn will hamper Sony’s ability to heavily invest in the large AAA games that many have come to love from them. If MS had stopped after Bethesda I could appreciate it as partnerships that fit their brand. ALSO buying Activision/Blizzar...

You didn’t play long enough to get good with your weapons or powers. You become an absolute run and gun beast once you progress and get to know the game well enough.

Agreed. I was a huge day 1 fan of the original Overwatch. I won’t be going near this half sequel stuffed with MTs and no sense of real in-game progression without cracking my wallet every time I see something in game I’d like for my characters. No thanks, all good.

Yes, yes it still is. Some of the worst controls, horrible story telling, and split narrative among characters that didn’t come together to make a cohesive chapter in the resident evil series. It’s by far the worst mainline title to date. Easy, next question…
How elite is it now if you have no grips left? It was my main gripe too. For the price point it was anything but ELITE after only a few months of consistent usage…
Truth hurts. They won’t get over that hurdle either if we’re patting them on the back and telling how great a job their doing. Controllers are great, quality AAA games are even better.

Dualsense puts playing multiplats on PS5 on top for me. Every gun feels and sounds differently through the dualsense. Same case in practically all current day shooters. Sports titles too, I can feel the pressure of being backed down in the post in NBA2K23. No other controller currently out there compares. Definitely adds levels of immersion missing elsewhere.
If the metric isn’t consoles anymore, then we should be able to agree it’s about supporting the best respective “eco-system” with the best games, in which Xbox is still dead last. They might have all the accessibility options in the world but it doesn’t change the fact that the haven’t produced any games this entire new gen worth gloating over except Forza Horizon. Otherwise this gen so far for MS has been an empty bullet casing…
Agreed, however..they’re doing much better then the competition in that very area. In the first two years Sony has given us Demon Souls, TLOU1, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Destruction All-Stars, Returnal, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Ghostwire Tokyo and Deathloop. All next-gen only games, not to mention cross-gen games still optimized for PS5. I think Sony’s actually done a better job migrating to current-gen then most seem to give them credit for.
