This looks like the Starship trooper game I’ve always wanted. I’m stoked personally
And where’s the mention of Halo Infinite’s half a billion dollar budget? And on an extremely flawed launch and support no less… $200mil for a AAA hit sounds great compared to a half a billion dollar flop.
I’ve got daughters, and plenty of cheap plastic already. Definitely don’t need anymore. Plus they dig Nintendo characters infinitely more than anything on Xbox. Not even a fair comparison really. We would have no clue what to do with it except maybe try to dress it up and serve it tea and biscuits…🤷🏼♂️
Precisely, yet why is the game still in a pre-alpha state after being shown off years ago at this point and still looking like weak sauce is more so the question?…This along with hellblade, fable, perfect dark and Everwild all wreak of development hell thus far with no substantial gameplay or set in stone release dates seen from any of those titles. Redfall was complete trash and Starfield is a snooze fest stuck at 30fps on the worlds most powerful console. If it wasn’t for marketing I don’t ...
It’s definitely not gonna run on a potato of a PC. I can see minimum requirements being a decent m.2 SSD. HDDs just aren’t gonna do the job this go round at producing decent frame rates
Personally I thought Helldivers 2 looked like co-op at its finest, and super fun, and out this year. . Marathon, Concord, and Fairgames weren’t really shown off, barely even conceptually. So I’d say it’s far too early and hard to say what we saw was bad or looked bad. I will say we just need to see what they are in gameplay form the next time we hear any of them come up again… And Concord is due out next year, I can’t believe they didn’t show this off more. Definitely a missed opportunity to ...
And where are any of those games? Nowhere to be seen. Stop trolling
No games at launch of a new console generation is not a decent start to any gen. Was never acceptable any other time of a main stream platform at launch, and I’d say I was a stumble out the gate again for the green team.
Not to mentioned, accessed your service under a free give-a-way promotion or payed a dollar to play gamepass for a month. MS’s “analytics” and interaction metrics are a meaningless joke. So impressive Xbox. Also what other amazing AAA games on gamepass are there to choose from really, of course this games did well. Turn10 is literally their only reliable workhorse. They always turn out a quality product.
Forgot to mention Destiny 2, A Way Out, Back4Blood, Ghost of Tsushima, Returnal, Elden Ring and many more
So you’re basically admitting it’s only a good idea to put your game on gamepass if you fear your game might flop, so devs are guaranteed some kind of compensation. That sounds opposite of synonymous with quality to me…
Horizon Forbidden West cost 110m to make. So that’s almost enough to make (2) full fledged AAA games from a top tier team. Then they’d sit back and make a crap ton more than the 185m back. So, that is a substantial amount to part with just to flush one nasty turd out of the industry. I’d rather see them fall apart than to see this scumbag get a “ride into the sunset” kinda payout
Who’d thunk it?….Sony gained a massive industry talent this year and former main studio of Xbox’s - Bungie for under the amount that Xbox and MS just lost on a failed attempt to buy gaming’s biggest IP and came up empty handed. You can’t write this stuff…. Phil’s gotta be on his way out, right?
You were so close then! It had its hurdles but I pushed forward, mastered the combat, became an absolute murdering maniac by the end of it and loved my time in it. The artstyle was definitely unique and the characters all zany enough to make you want to axe them. You don’t get many games that unfold the way it did. Very cool concepts I thought.
You’re giving way too much benefit of the doubt to the richest player in the console space with a 1st party exclusive - of which they’ve been completely dry of since the launch of their latest console generation, while maintaining the “crown” of the world’s most powerful console. I own 2 series X consoles and even I can say the previous output as well as the upcoming games don’t live up to any of the hype they were shoveling. A break is not what Xbox deserves right now. This is proving ground...
Exactly…where’s the crying choir over Nintendo keeping their games full priced for the entire their generation with only occasional game sales? And Xbox can’t even weigh in this convo because they don’t really deliver enough 1st party content to do anything but gamepass to survive the last several years. I say let Sony make their money and keep pumping it into more high quality AAA projects the best they can. Not everything needs to be straw fed to us through a service. And if someone hasn’t ...
Another delay would be better than your platform being associated with poor performing lackluster titles. I’d take the temporary PR loss and give Arcane the time they need to finish their vision of the game. It’s the only way the end product doesn’t end up sucking and being completely forgotten or forever memed like Crackdown3. Xbox can’t afford the look of unfinished game egg on their faces anymore. Finish the game and release it when it’s ready I say, and what Xbox does will tell us how the...
Lately?…this snowball has been rolling for awhile now. Looks more like a very expensive avalanche these days. I think they’re calling it Gamepass….
All that money and still searching for even one super quality big hitter to call their own. Bought half the industry and we’re still lacking original content to this point in the gen and much less high bar quality content.
3 platforms. Series X/S and PC. But yea, what gives?…a new “current gen” only FPS stuck at 30 frames. Not a great looks at all.
And shareholders will further force these practices as long as people keep buying this kind of dribble. They don’t care what gamers enjoy.
