Saying “Day 1” really loses its luster when it’s a cheap monthly entrance fee to play it and many other games. Would it still be a “Day 1” in any way if they were launching it outside of gamepass? Pure curiosity, how many people would pick this up if it were $60 or more.
No need for constructive criticism. Just fork over your money and play or shut the hell up huh?! That’ll help Bethesda make a better game…sure.
Can’t wait to see it in 4-5 years. Just in time for next next gen to get going.
Garbage show for AAA lovers once more. Don’t know why I expected anything different. More Forza, which is always quality and welcome to a game starved platform and Starfield. The rest was either 3rd party or smaller to mid-tier gamepass filler.

Hell yea! Ellie’s still a walking cure. This should further explored or be addressed ultimately. Fingers crossed for part 3.

Agreed, obvious flaw. It’s from a now owned xbox studio. But it wasn’t developed under MS and it was cross-platform so I won’t be giving any credit to MS for that little gem.
They didn’t inherit Bethesda and other zenimax studios. They bought them. And it’s called a due diligence, if MS knew how to make quality yet efficient games themselves they would’ve recognized the state of all Bethesda studio projects’ and that they wouldn’t be ready to deploy for years.
Let us fight somewhere new besides another ring for starters. Give us alien living quarters and camps/communities instead of the constantly sterile diamond-cut environments and overly large uninhabited structures we’ve seen since Halo:Combat Evolved. Have co-op campaign at the start. Let us play a campaign mission or two from a new enemy perspective like they did in 2. As a single player first kind of gamer, these are just a few recommendations I can think of.

It’s been that way since ever since the decent start of xbox one days with Titanfall, Sunset Overdrive, Ryse: Son of Rome… ever since, variety and quality in AAA games or IPs outside of their tentpole 3…Halo, Gears, and Forza has been nowhere to be found. Everything else has been mediocre (recore, state of decay) or downright nauseating gas lighting overhype (crackdown3)
I respectfully disagree. They should’ve delayed the console launch all together until they had one or two games in the chamber to start the new gen. Going an entire year before a single 1st party team was ready with a single product was just foolish. But instead it was more about racing out door for market share’s sake, PR’ing us to death about gamepass, and more promises about a future that still seems pretty far off.
Jack squat….the same as always with the exception of 2 releases right before Christmas last year. So much for having 30 some odd studios… 2 years in and all we have are 2 big cross gen games on Xbox. And people wanna give Sony such a hard time yet they had 4 next gen only games in its 1st year on PS5.
I keep thinking quality Daredevil, Punisher, and Ghost Rider games are way overdue at this point as well.
And several last gen games take a resolution hit to achieve said boosted frame rates but that’s not often mentioned. So it’s more of a trade-off in many BC cases, as opposed to the only positive headlines “power of the S” would have you believe. SMH. This thing is for kids who don’t know the difference and/or aren’t old enough to care yet.
And what was the last bad game made by Insomniac? I’m sure they’ll do more then fine with Wolverine….or anything for that matter.

Gotta disagree, without a doubt Deathloop was way cooler then this in my opinion. From an art and graphical style alone. Gameplay and story unfolding too were really amazing and not overly familiar. I Wish them all the luck, but I’m feeling this game is a step backwards from their prior momentum.
