First RPG I spent more than 100hrs+ in. This is very welcome news for me actually. Good call MS, this game deserves another look by most!

So underwhelmed right now, all I can do is laugh! I’m happy for game gear fans, sad for the loss the Sega Series X that could’ve been. Would’ve definitely bolstered MS’ position as way more interesting to me!

It’s likely because we would all love to see Sega put out our another console, so one with this amount of power combined with Sega’s best foot forward on games would be insane! Launch of new Virtua Fighter, Jet Set Radio, and a new Sonic Adventure could be pretty epic. To hell with MS games...more AAA Sega I can get behind!

ARPGs all the way! Soulsborne games, GOW, Nioh, Bioshock, Dishonored, Infamous SS, Fable, etc..
To each their own of course, but the rest feel so slow or cheesy to me. If you want to read everything - pick up a book(choose your adventure). If you want a turn based game - play cards(Magic or D&D). They just don’t feel like actual video games to me, more like interactive e-books. Strategy happens in real time, so why would I stand their and let my opponent hit me. ㈳...
And still, context is everything. It’s not always what happens in a story but how and why it happens. Play the game then judge. Then even if we don’t like the story, the gameplay is still world class. One way or another this game will be far from a Dud!
I’ve been gaming for 32-34ish years, I’ve never once enjoyed a game with turn based mechanics. Might as well play a card game...strategy takes place in real time, so the argument that their is more “strategy” in these type games seems subjective. In any real skirmish (slap-fights aside), why would anyone trade turns hitting your opponent. Never made since to me, just gonna stand here and let you hit me first. Lol. Just not for me I guess...
I don’t see that in current development, but I wouldn’t mind that or Soul Reaver being remade at some point for next gen

Sure, for games that are years off and not meant to demonstrate the power of your newest product. Godfall wasn’t part of a Sony event showing off the “power” of the PS5. These games were hand selected by MS to do just that, and kinda sucked it up. Guaranteed PS doesn’t make the same mistake next week.
Activision doesn’t make games anymore. Just bloated file size services. Screw COD.
