Xbox has created the wii/wii u marketing pain all over again. I get it all, but it’s because I keep of with this type of news daily. Casual gamers or parents of gamers gonna be scratching their heads come Christmas time. Which Xbox did you get?, that’s not the one we wanted! 😆
The games shown didn’t look horrible by any means, they just weren’t the 3rd party line-up you call in to show off your newest piece of hardware when you’re current console is sitting in dead last and your new console won’t get console exclusive content for a couple years. If they were going to show off games for SeriesX it needed to come off like more of a roar, instead we got a morning yawn or a growl lol
Origins was dope, odyssey was bloated! Witcher has a great story and graphics, but gameplay/combat was way overrated.
Advanced stylish graphics, a lot of charm and humor, and a good combat system, there’s another great game to be made out of this IP. Just make a good GAME, make it loaded FUN for a single-player to enjoy. Please don’t shove multiplayer and purchasables that can’t be earned in game. Don’t ruin a great potential GAME! Please don’t turn this into another Sea of Thieves, I don’t have a problem with SOT just not my cup of tea. Games not services! 👍🏼
Nothing to fear except better 1st party development teams that don’t have a history of cancelling AAA games during a gaming drought mid console generation and sharing almost all 3rd party content with your competitors. Nothing Xbox has put out even since the OneX has been better looking than what Sony’s lineup over the last couple of years. Even with the “power advantage”. Don’t know why so many think it will be different this time?
M.2 is out there but they are expensive and not the standard in most people’s pc rig, SeriesX and PS5 will make that technology “the standard“, then we will start to see games optimized with these in mind from the start of production. Whole Different story I’d wager! Not just faster loading...

The graphics have always sold me on AC, now I’m tired of the nearly annual cash grab, buggy optimizations, stale gameplay(more action than assassin), horrible uninspired storylines, fetch quests, MTs in a single-player game!? What are they, NBA2k now!? Taking on Gods and monsters now!?(No longer realistic-more on the fantasy side). The games were fine, this was just not the way to showcase what your new monster box can do. Not a single heavy hitter 3rd party title shown in any serious manner. ACV “gameplay” was a joke. Why worry what the others can do while you can be playing amazing new experiences on PS5 games designed to take full advantage of its new SSD speeds. I’ve never called the switch a port machine. Besides Mario Aces and Luigi’s mansion, ports are all I play on switch! And it still needs more 3rd party support not less. All I was saying is I’d like a fuller library of 3rd party games to play on the go. What is wrong with that?

GTA5, Watchdogs, Batman Arkham Series, Dying Light, yada, yada, yada, I could go on for days...just saying I’d love to have a much broader library that I could enjoy on the go. The better the switch the better and broader the ports we can get. I’d love a better switch.
