UE5 won’t even release til next year. Anything already in development for a year or more is not going use this yet. So no, we haven’t been seeing this already on SeriesX. I’m pretty sure that’s why this was a UE5 premier🤔

My ass! Sony is still churning out classics to put on its CURRENT console. They don’t require the chest beating or war-drum leading up to the PS5, Sony products have spoken for themselves for the last 20-some years. The fact that they’re not holding back their last 2 major hits for PS5 launch is almost all the PR I need - says they have a killer launch planned aside from these two master class games already coming! Paint me very excited to see what Sony has in store for us this holiday!
This gen ain’t even over, but Horizon zero dawn, God of War, and Last of US 2, and Ghost of Tsushima all say hello! Gears 5 looked fine, it also looked like a game that hadn’t evolved since conception...decent game though. Got it on OneX and on PC...
BC is a nice bonus but never as a replacement for new games. You gotta love that Sony is still making games for the here and now(PS4) while also catering to those who will enjoy new experiences when we move onto the on PS5. Full generation support is what we’ve come to expect from Sony and their work effort in this department is unrivaled imo. They deserve the great sales numbers! See you on PS5 Sony👍🏼
This^! Folks will learn soon enough. If Sony is not holding back these last two gems for launch they have to be super confident with their upcoming rotation! That is chilling! Demon Souls Remake and Horizon sequel are going to blow minds!!
When the exclusives coming out of PS are subjectively better than just about all 3rd party titles we see, then yes I will spend money where the games I want to play are regardless of a few flops difference. Not all Sony games will come to PC and definitely not on day one for most 1st party titles. Which can’t be said for the competition, ALL MS games coming to PC and they’re giving them all away for $1 because they know a services model is the only way to attract consumers without top tier ga...
Game pass 😆 THE excuse MS has given for their lack of effort in the 1st party games department. Poor marketing by Sony for sure, but most fail to realize PS Now IS essentially Game pass by another name(Just as good if not better game-wise), all the while PS is also known for delivering on great NEW games to play. Not just a bunch of 3rd party filler. Can’t wait for them to prove their superior quality 1st dev teams and exclusives for another generation

You can’t tell me even a boot up screen on several past systems didn’t give everybody goosebumps waiting to a load a new game. Like THX or Dolby commercials before a movie starts, they matter. Sets the tone/mood. Brand recognition🤔 I dig it personally, and yes I am excited for the PS5...
Sony is doing a worldwide simultaneous release, 1-2mil worldwide wouldn’t even be a drop in the bucket. I’d imagine we’ll see some shortages at first but nothing that drastic. My guess is between 6-10mil manufactured by spring 21’. And I’m sure those will be devoured quickly once Sony shows the games coming for it. Regardless it’s awesome to be this genuinely excited about a new console gen. Can’t get hur fast enough!

I wish UBi just had the balls to call them each something else then, instead of trying so hard to shoe-horn all these action hero games into “assassin” Templar’s stories that don’t stand up to either the story they’re trying to tell and sacrificing most the aspects of being an true assassin for faster paced Conan the Barbarian mechanics(which are fine for other titles). This change in mechanics wouldn’t be tolerated in a splinter cell title - all the sudden going John Rambo lol 🤔...
