It’s been over shown to this point, but I’m excited none the less. After having just taken on Returnal, Hades, and Demons Souls on PS5, this very much looks like it’ll be up my alley.

And PS still has Deathloop, Kena, and Fist all due out this year, which aren’t coming to Xbox anytime soon. So I’d don’t think your direct comparison works there. Plus how can folks be so easy to forgive 8 months out of the shoot without any “exclusives”. My fingers have been busy all year with PS titles.
Maybe the controller for the game makes it’s somewhat endurable. The game was a snooze fest on series X.

Couldn’t agree more. This is the best Assassin’s Creed ever made, it only took Sucker Punch to make it. One of the few games I’ve ever Platinum’d. A masterpiece for me personally.

I never played it because it didn’t look like something you could get thorough enjoyment out of on my own. I can’t see that changing in a GAAS game like this. Story with no ending equals a narrative with no real weight or consequences.
Annual cash grab titles, games full of MTs, no new big IPs in a long time, huge executive bonuses and mass lay-offs after games are done. Harassment suit aside, Activision has been sliding downhill for quite some time. I’d be more than happy to see this company disbanded into smaller companies and new indie studios. That’s a lot of talent that would be appreciated elsewhere.
In consolidation I will officially boycott Diablo4, Overwatch2, and any CoD games going forward. These are the only series from acti-blizzard that I liked, so that’s best I can do for now. That, and so sorry for those harassed on behalf of my entertainment. I’ll correct course best I can when I hear of these types toxic work cultures, unfortunately money talks loudest, so I want my money to go to those that truly stay focused on their craft. The narrative and defense evolves because Sony actually makes good games and those who enjoy them want them to continue on a similar path. MS hasn’t give us anything that great since Halo3 and Gears3 besides Forza Horizon yet get consistent praise for gamepass. If you like GAAS or enjoyed Crackdowns3 quality games by all means enjoy gamepass. Dead Space was amazing, and the original is worthy of a Bluepoint quality remake. I sure hope EA can do it justice.
Still looked and felt like an Xbox360 game to me. Not horrible, just no real evolution in such a long time, which made it feel very unexciting to play. I still dig the over the top outfits but this game needs more realism and grounding as the series progresses. I would be ok letting this series take a hiatus unless they plan to change it up in a substantial way for any further entries.
Then why read articles and comments about it if you have no interest. It’d be like me commenting on final fantasy games when I hate both the series and the genre…there’s no point.
