As an Steam Deck OLED owner, that screen is gorgeous, and it really helps hid the lower resolution/visuals of the Steam Deck compared to it's more powerful competitors, it's really hard to go back to IPS panels after using it, one day I'll get an OLED desktop monitor.
I thought that was what we were going to get, I'm very disappointed, I hope they don't charge out the ass for this game if it's episodic, maybe I'll wait for an OD collection unless the game is bad.

You got a lot of down votes, but you're right, people need to have some more discipline and vote with their wallet, if they do a crap job, don't buy it. Or if you absolutely have to have it, at least wait for a steep discount, they'res so many games out, you can afford to wait a couple of years if it comes to that.
we're just reinforcing bad behaviour at this point, so developers keep doing it.
I'm pretty sure a large portion of it is developers, the latest Silent Hill's performance isn't as awful as Silent Hill 2's, but I hope UE6 will be a noticeable improvement over performance anyway.
I don't know if it's the English that is off-putting or weird, or what Fishy Fingers stated, I personally think it's the accents, maybe using Asian sounding accents/voices would have seemed more natural. I'd still buy it, but I think I'll go with JP dub/EN sub myself when I play through it.
It's exactly what I thought it would be, definitely not for me, but I'll enjoy watching my favourite streamers struggle through it.
Awesome, normally I hate Gacha type games because all the good stuff is locked behind Gacha and the mechanics for these games, even the ones on PC tend to be too shallow for me. I hope this game is good, I'm liking everything I've seen so far.

Geez, I bet they're kicking themselves over that one, I honestly couldn't imagine in my wildest dreams that it would be the dumpster fire it turned out to be. Although to be fair, I always considered the Destiny games to be such a mixed bag, you would think they would have nailed it the third time.
Almost everything Insomniac has put has been fire though, it's good to see they nailed it again.
I'd rather not extra mechanics, the gameplay of Black Flag was so spot on, I honestly can't think of any new mechanics I would want/enjoy.
This feels like the worst kept secret in gaming, I swear we knew about this years ago, having said that, Black Flag is probably the only AC game I would consider purchasing again.

How long to beat says it takes about 28.5 hours for the main story, he really must have sped run through the game or at least knew what you were doing to finish it that fast (it's certainly possible, I personally doubt his claim). Or maybe he played with a guide, idk, 20 hours seems really fast for a JRPG styled game.
It's about in line with the other ROG Ally handhelds, at least when I convert it to Aussie prices, but we'll probably pay the Aussie tax, which means it'll be more expensive than just a simple USD conversion.
I'm buying it, I hope we get the other games too, then we'll have almost all of Dragon Quest on modern systems.
Unfortunately, not all cables and chargers are the same, they don't all provide the same wattage/amperage, normally, the worst case scenario is that they just don't charge the device or do so slowly. I think some of the cheaper ones cheap out on safety features, too.
I hope that whatever comes after USB C, they standardise the spec more strictly, rather than forcing people to check the specs match up to what the device needs to charge.
I've used a lot of USB cables over the years, and I've suspected that some may have damaged the battery in some of my devices. So I try to use brands that I trust like Anker or Ugreen when I need to use/buy a cable, at least I know they have all the safety mechanisms in place to not damage the device.
I would say the same for chargers too, I was using cheap chargers from Big W and Woolies, which is fine for mobile phones, but I couldn't charge my Steam Deck from...

Running away was sometimes an option, although, ideally, you had to dismember enemies to progress, I don't remember feeling like I missed out on a dodge/block option though.
Actually not that bad of a price considering how much more powerful it is than the Steam Deck, and hopefully the new Windows OS features make it a lot more usable as a portable OS. I'd still prefer the Steam Deck because of how stupidly optimised Steam OS is, plus, I feel that the Steam Deck nails the control scheme and ergonomics.
