That battery life is a dealbreaker for it, it's the primary reason I chose the OLED Steam Deck, as long as it's not an intensive AAA game, I'm getting somewhat okay battery life, I need that 2.5/3 hours for a decent gaming session.

I remember those days, people used to glaze Xbox so much, I really don't think the site is biased, because when Xbox was doing well, it got a lot of praise, the last 2 gens it's down badly and people have condemned Microsoft/Xbox for it.

Personally, I've also condemned PS this gen too with how terrible the PS5's game library is.

They should have just done this game instead of AC Japan, it would have been receieved much better.

I honestly think the concept of this game really could have worked, having said that, I don't trust Ubisoft to actually execute it in a satisfying way.

I would honestly go for a Remaster Collection, just AI upscale some textures (there are really good fan mods for that), widescreen everything where possible, higher native resolution, etc...

It seems like a no-brainer to make such a large portion of what was FF's golden age into a collection of it's own.

I buy sporadically, but I also take advantage of sales, especially steam sales, where I can rack up half a dozen or more games. Looking at my Steam account purchases, I'm averaging 5.8 games a month, but there are a few months there where I've picked up 6 games for $30 which is a mix of older AAA and indies, and it rarely exceeds $100 a month.

I've also picked up a couple of Switch games this year as well, I may have an addiction...

@DaCajun,

I still remember what happened to my PS4 Skyrim disc, idk how, since I take really good care of all my stuff, and this is the first and only time I've ever cracked a disc, split right from the centre.

I have a feeling this is going to flop, people weren't happy with what they've shown of the game so far, unless the gameplay is god-tier and makes up for everything else.

Honestly surprised it took someone this long to say "f**k it, if no one will make a Black and White 3 or a spiritual successor, I'll do it myself".

If you wait long enough, the discounts from sales become so stupidly good that it's easy to amass a huge library of games. Plus, if you're on PC you can get games from EPIC for free, and if you have a Prime account, you get to keep most of the games they give you (a lot of them are GOG keys these days).

I really think Game Pass only works well for kids or teenagers who have the free time to spare.

Xbox has been mismanaged so spectacularly, it's impressive that they've survived this long with so little to offer, but Microsoft money helps.

Idk if I agree, Sega was pretty incompetent towards the end too, they just didn't have Micro$t money to blow like Xbox did (hence why the death of their hardware division was more sudden), there are some vague parallels between the two companies. It doesn't help that Playstation (PS1/PS2) and Nintendo (SNES/N64) were very strong competitors and both had an amazing line-up of games at the time (maybe not so much the N64), but Sega could have lasted longer if they were able to blow the ...

Ruined by sheer incompetence, if they had maintained the 360's momentum, they would have been fine today. Instead, they kept trying to toss money at their problems without creating any games, then they tried to squeeze out their competitors with acquisitions and Gamepass, Xbox made multiple blunders, and worst of all, they didn't learn from them.

They really are like the next Sega.

I hope the performance is at least better, crazy to hinder even high-end PCs by rendering stuff the player can't even see (because of the fog).

A lot of us have been predicting this would eventually happen anyway, the cheaper prices weren't sustainable.

Between work and responsibilities, I'm very lucky if I finish 2 games a month, I strongly doubt I could manage 3 unless they were all short games. It's going up to $35 dollars a month in Australia, at that point I could get multiple great indie/small games on sale from Steam or pay for one fantastic one (I'm eyeing off the Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster for that price atm).

Yeah, this really isn't the greatest deal in gaming anymore, and I long predicte...

Me too, great story, but I did not enjoy that gameplay, really wish the gameplay had been better.

Kinda annoys me since I did buy All Stars, especially when they said it was a limited release, I'll probably be slow to get this personally.

248d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

That's pretty on brand for them, if they were proud of the numbers, they'd give figures, but they've never given sales figures from what I can remember.
