I've seen game journos make several weird comparisons for this game, I can't say whether they're wrong or not yet.
I don't think it's much worse than the last two games, it takes up less than a third of the screen going by the video.
I keep forgetting someone made this, but this would be perfect for FFIX, that level of graphics is fine since it's more about the art style than realism.
I don't want a remake, especially not one like FF7R, if they had to do it, please do it on a budget (FF7 Ever Crisis graphics are fine). I want the game on one disc with minimal changes to the story. If I remember right, there's supposed to be a novel and anime to go with the IX anniversary celebration. I wouldn't mind some memorabilia or merch either.
The game had a good run, that's longer than most mobile/gacha games survive for, SE are probably happy with the money they made off of it.
I never really felt that way, but I really enjoyed NieR: Automata, I made sure to get all the endings.
That, and they need to make up for their last couple of financial failures, it doesn't need to just recoup the cost of developing AC Shadows, it needs to almost recoup the cost of 3 games and then some. I don't think it's going to sell well enough for that to happen.
I really feel like Playstation is almost irrelevant this gen, can't say I've missed out by not buying one when all of their "exclusives" are ending up on PC. I don't know why they feel they have to copy Xbox's worst trends.
I want to purchase it on Steam, so I guess I'll go to a key seller like Fanatical or Green Man Gaming, that's what I did for Valkyrie Drive Bhikini.
I'm still waiting for my copy to arrive in the post, I could have gotten the digital version, but I want physical and I still have gift cards from work to spend. I probably won't have the game until sometime next week.
I've seen the clips, I haven't been impressed, sometimes the acting is so bad I wonder if they used AI instead of real actors.
I'm not feeling great about this either, but even if this project survives and sees the light of day, I'm not too keen on what SE puts out these days (even if they only co-produce/work on it).
Would be nice if I could find a physical copy here, a lot of places have already sold out despite the game still being in pre-order.
I really want a physical copy.
Exactly, don't play with randoms if you can help it, sometimes you get a great team, but most of the time, you get a fail team. Having said that, I had a pretty good experience with MH World, most players there were pretty good and really helped me.
Lol, still milking my 1080ti for all it's worth, that thing is going to be so old by the time I replace it.
Zen 1 was pretty great for what it was, considering that was the first time in a long time that AMD was actually competitve with Intel, it was also the first time you could easily get something with more than 4 cores/threads. The RAM issues was frustrating AF though, especially since Zen 1 performance relied so heavily on fast RAM.
If we ignore the price, the 990x3D and 9950X3D look pretty great provided you can actually make use of those extra cores/threads, otherwise the ...
They were absolutely cooking during the PS1 era, now I can't get excited for the majority of SE's newest games. I would actually love it if AAA developed forgot about making the best graphics ever and focused moreso on other aspects of games. Limitations really did breed innovation back then.
Prices will never go down, if there are savings to be made the business/company will just pocket it, it won't be passed onto their consumers, nor raise the wage of their employees.
We're eating good this April.
