Forgot to add Fallout: New Vegas to that list as well. It's been a great year for me.
I love both a big round ass, and big natural boobs. I'm more than lucky in that my wife has both! (she's going to kill me for posting this...).
Anyway, typical IGN. They have no taste at all...
why? they're just pulling a Pachter, you know, getting it WRONG? ZING!
Considering that Pachter is a PAID analyst, I'm sure the many people investing in the products he predicts will be hits/misses, care a GREAT deal about whether he is right or not.
People wouldn't hate on Pachter so much if his record wasn't overwhelmingly WRONG. No one is expecting him to get it right 100% of the time. That's simply impossible, but man, this guy is hardly EVER correct.
If I was an investor, and I was curious about what I shoul...
I own ME2 on the 360, and I downloaded the PS3 demo.
from what I can tell between the RETAIL 360 version, and the DEMO PS3 version is that the PS3 version looked sharper and cleaner. the framerate seemed a lot more stable as well. the lighting also seemed better, and the grain effect looked scaled back and not as heavy. i like the grain effect, so that wasn't a negative for either version.
to be fair, i'm playing the 360 version on my 24" 1080p s...
my biggest disappointment of 2010 is Little Big Planet 2 being delayed until January. seriously.
as far as games go, i can't say i was disappointed in any of the games i was anticipating. i wholeheartedly enjoyed
Mass Effect 2
White Knight Chronicles
Heavy Rain
God of War 3
Final Fantasy XIII (don't understand the hate, and i'm a LONGTIME FF fan)
3D Dot Game Heroes
Red Dead Redemption
Alan Wa...
My character is a female with short red hair, split black cape, and domino mask and blue glowing eyes. her name is Night Queen. her colors are dark dark red and black.
interesting. unfortunately, my money is going to Little Big Planet 2 in January. i was actually really hoping for that March/April release that was initially slated.
i can't afford many games in 2011, so i have to really pick and choose.
i'm absolutely LOVING the DCUO beta, and i'd like to get the game, but since it's me and my wife, that'd be two copies of the game at $60 each. $120 for the game, plus $30 for month 2(first month is free)...
i think the thing to keep in mind is that this is just the beta, meaning it's not the full game. we're only stress testing Gotham and Metropolis, but there are going to be a lot more areas come launch. remember, they have the whole DC Universe to pillage like Star City (Green Arrow), Atlantis (Aquaman), Themyscira(Wonder Woman), Bludhaven (Nightwing), etc.
each of those locations will no doubt make it into the game (if a few aren't already), and they will all be ...
me and my wife really enjoy the approach to character customization in DCUO.
we were disappointed at first, until we started getting new costume pieces, and tailoring our character's looks accordingly.
having played City of Heroes since it's launch, i can say i prefer a lot of the design decisions of DCUO over CoH/V.
i enjoy being able to have a cape/flight/super speed/acrobatics from moment one. i prefer the fast paced combat. i pref...
since it's in Beta, it's really hard to give a definitive answer. the game is incomplete.
i'm in the PS3 beta, so i can only come at it from that perspective, but my impressions are that the game was MADE for a console controller. the combat and movement feels really good with the DS3. since combat is a LOT more fast-paced than your typical MMO, i can imagine it being a bit trying using keyboard and mouse.
now, on the flip side, the lack of that k...
Little Big Planet 2 all the way.
i already own ME2 for the 360, so the PS3 version can wait for a while.
next year, my gaming budget is super limited, so i'm all about getting the new releases, or at least, games i haven't played before. except for Ico Collection. i WILL own that in HD. it's my one exception.
i'll get the PS3 version of ME2 if i can swing it later on.
i don't need the boycott to work in order for me to feel better about not spending any of my hard earned money on Activision's drivel.
i'm not trying to make any particular statement, or send a message to ATVI.
i'm satisfied in the knowledge that MY money, isn't going into funding their shitty games. there are so many other developers, big and small, that deserve my support. Activision won't go broke because of me, that's for sure,...
my must haves for next year (in no particular order):
1) Little Big Planet 2
2) Uncharted 3
3) inFAMOUS 2
4) The Last Guardian
5) Journey
6) Resistance 3
7) Killzone 3
ones i'd like to get, but aren't sure if i can afford them:
1) Batman: Arkham City
2) DC Universe Online
3) Mass Effect 2 PS3 (i already own it on 360, but what can i say, i'd love to play it on the PS3...
i own Fable 3, and it reeks of a game that was initially going to have Kinect support shoe-horned in, but at the last minute, MS and Peter Molyneux realized that it wouldn't be ready in time to fill the rather empty holiday lineup.
me and my wife enjoy playing co-op together, but the incredibly simplified design (combat, menus, interaction) gives me the impression that it was going to have some heavy Kinect support.
i can't say i was disappointed with...
i finally got to play for a few hours last night after an incredible 15gig download.
i'm only level 7, but i'm enjoying immensely. as a City of Heroes player since launch, i can say that DCUO is better in nearly every way. the only area it falls short in is character creation. it's good, but City of Heroes had an insane character creator, with tons of pieces and options.
the combat, visuals, missions, and "storylines" are way more intere...
i haven't seen terriers. i actually never even HEARD of Sons of Anarchy, but one of my old co-workers at Konami kept mentioning it, so i started watching it with my wife, and we love it. we're at about episode 5 of season 3 right now.
i'll also check out terriers (and bubble up your other account too. lol)
clearly it's sacrilege to compare the smaller, kind of uninteresting plot of ME2 with the more epic, galaxy in peril plot of ME1.
plot to ME1: Elite soldier Commander Shepard is sent to investigate a mysterious artifact thought to belong to an extinct race of highly intelligent beings known as the Protheans. After being betrayed by a rogue Spectre Agent, named Saren, Shepard must embark on a quest to bring Saren in, and foil a plot that could mean the end of the known gal...
fortunately for me, it hasn't stopped, but i've been keeping my eye on it while i've been doing other stuff around the house. right now i'm catching up on Sons of Anarchy, bothering my wife, and surfing the net while i wait. lol.
i've been following DCUO since i first heard about it. i'm not a huge DC fan (i enjoy Marvel more, but love DC characters like Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, etc. never been a big Superman fan outside of the Chris...
I have an extra PS3 beta code for anyone that has yet to get in. Send me a PM if you want it. First come, first serve.
