Sucker Punch hasn't revealed any information on save files yet, but they've hinted that you should probably hold onto your inFAMOUS saves, as inFAMOUS 2 DOES have a branching story depending on your actions.

I think it's safe to say that your ending from inFAMOUS 1 will carry over to inFAMOUS 2.

I beat the game Good and Evil, but lost my saves when my PS3 died, so I'm replaying right now, on Good, then I'll do an Evil playthrough, and back...

The visuals are actually BETTER than Fable 2, surprisingly enough.

Character models are much better, lighting is improved.

The problem is really that the engine is so dated that the game just "feels" behind other action/rpg titles.

Animations seem ripped straight from Fable 1, texture detail is decent, but controls are sluggish (but much tighter and responsive than Fable 2).

Cosmetically, I think that Fable 3 is sup...

I'm a big fan of the Fable series. Every time Peter Molyneux gets up on his soap box and starts waxing poetic about his big dreams for the series, I give him the benefit of the doubt.

I got an Xbox for Fable. I got Fable 2 day one. I got Fable 3 through a great deal on Amazon in which I paid $32 TOTAL for Fable 3 AND Killzone 2.

Me and my wife got some enjoyment out of the game playing co-op (we married each other and had a kid. lol), however, the game is...

I agree, and I feel the exact opposite as you.

I have no desire to play much multi-player in gaming, so I personally value a strong single player campaign.

I've replayed games like Uncharted 1 and 2, God of War 3, Heavy Rain, Heavenly Sword, Ratchet and Clank Future, etc, etc, 4, 5, 6 times. I can go back and replay their single player campaigns because I find them incredibly enjoyable, much like going back and rewatching my favorite movie (I can't te...

I don't know what Final Fantasy XIII you were playing, but I didn't just press Auto Battle the entire game.

Paradigm shifting was a key battle element and it becomes a required tactic in order to complete a lot of later battles.

As for not liking FF8; the story was ok, but it was the characters that killed it for me. Squall was quite possibly the most unlikable RPG protagonist I've ever encountered in a JRPG. He was clearly trying to ride the angs...

The God of War series handily handed other action/adventure game series their asses with it's compelling protagonist, polished, rock solid battle system, and level of scale that other action/adventure games STILL have yet to reach. Seriously, they are ankle high to the Colossus of Rhodes, while Kratos is toppling CRONOS.

Devil May Cry set the bar at what a 3D action game could be. God of War 1 came along and added a story that WASN'T laughably bad (anyone arguing that...

The internet can have it's little circle jerking hatefest of FFXIII, but I chose to sit back and enjoy a rather polished, fun RPG that had some excellent additions to the genre, and the FF series, that were a long time coming.

I've been a fan of the FF series since the beginning (after some convincing; I had never played a game like FF at the time, being a mere lad of about 7 or 8, so I wasn't sure I liked it at first. I soon changed my mind), so I'm not some ...

you know, none of these ridiculous terms/phrases existed before this generation of console started.

last gen, and previous generations, you never heard people whining about "console exclusives," "AAA titles," "sales number jargon," "pixel counting," "true gamer," "casual gamer," etc.

as far as games go, this generation has been rather awesome, but when it comes to the actual gaming community, holy fu...

I own ME1 and ME2 on the 360, and as much as I love Mass Effect 1, it's a REALLY difficult game to play multiple times.

The pacing is incredibly slow, and there is a lot of bullshit filler to pad the game (like the obnoxious Mako sections).

This comic does a really good job of keeping the story on point, and letting you make the critical decisions.

In truth, your decisions in ME1 have very little effect on the events of ME2. It was nice s...

this comparison would have been more useful if they hadn't used screens from Uncharted: Drake's Fortune that came from pre-release builds/trailers of the game.

Also, Uncharted 3 isn't coming out for another 10 months. It hasn't even gone through final visual polishing (which usually happens during the last 3-4 months of production before release).

I never got these comparisons that use old assets, or demo footage, to try and make a point.

Crackdown? Um, no.

Now, don't get me wrong, I LOVED Crackdown from the moment I played the original at an E3 years ago, but it's hardly the best super hero game of the generation, even arguably.

They aren't even superheroes.

Batman: AA, and inFAMOUS are the two best superhero games I've played all generation. Crackdown is a very fun, if shallow, open world game.

DCUO didn't make me think of Crackdown at al...

What I love about PlayStation consoles is the variety of games, not just the quantity.

There is literally, something for everyone with a PlayStation console.

Not everybody wants a shooter. Not everybody wants a racer. Not everybody wants an HD remake, or a stealth game, or a platformer, or an RPG, but the thing is, THAT'S OK, because the PS3 has you covered for whatever your tastes may be. Even weird niche titles like flower, flow, Heavy Rain, etc.

looking at that list you posted, I'm like, FUCK, the Wii doesn't get ANY of the really good games.

This is worse than the N64 and GC eras. I had a GC, and I had a lot of awesome games to play on it that weren't just Nintendo made.

The Wii on the other hand, is really suffering when it comes to getting some of the really awesome multi-plats.

No Batman: Arkham City, Elder Scrolls V, LA Noire, Dead Space 2, Dragon Age 2.

All these titles Sony is releasing this year, and people actually WONDER why they're cracking down on piracy as hard as they are now?

Journey
Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One
Resistance 3
Uncharted 3
inFAMOUS 2

PlayStation Move Heroes

I'm usually all for giving the huge, multi-billion dollar companies the finger and telling them to swivel on it, but this time, I'm totally in Sony's corner.

Why? Because, unlike pirating a song or movie, the end user experience for people that legitimately bought the game can be directly, and adversely affected by this hack.

Oh, the FUN we'll have playing Killzone 3 online when some asshole has initiated some cheats that give them infinite he...

Well, I'm sure there is, the point I was trying to make is that it's more than possible to get your fill of a game in 30 days.

If I want to come back for month 2, I can pay the $15 subscription fee.

At least I have that full free month of enjoying the game. By that point, I think it's safe to say that you'll have decided if the game is worth that $15 extra a month.

SOE has already said that they plan on monthly updates that ha...

This is the most ridiculous article I have ever seen.

Instead of renting everything (which means retailers will order LESS games from developers, meaning developers won't get a LICK of money, meaning they will go out of business, meaning you won't be getting any NEW games to play), how about you become a LOT MORE DISCERNING when it comes to the games you DO slap down your $60 on.

Last year, I spent a lot on games, but I made sure I was completely inte...

Because I'm not buying Bethesda games on my PS3 after Fallout 3 AND Fallout: New Vegas killed my PlayStations.

In 2008, my wife was playing Fallout 3, and the PS3 crapped out.

In 2010, my wife was playing Fallout: New Vegas, and the replacement PS3 crapped out.

I then resolved that buggy Bethesda games were not welcome on my PS3.

I got Fallout: New Vegas on the 360 (my wife LOVES Fallout, or else I wouldn't have bough...

that's a really solid score.

i don't put much stock in scores, but from my time with the beta, i'd recommend it in a heartbeat to people that love super heroes, DC, and fun action games.

it was really addicting. i was bummed when the beta ended, and i'm looking forward to picking this game up some day. i was on the fence about whether i'd want to spend $15 a month on an MMO again, but this game hit all the right notes for me, and with a fe...

i own both consoles, so i'm set.

the problem is really having the money to support two gaming platforms. it gets REALLY hard for me, and most of the time, the PS3 wins out, as the PS3's exclusives appeal to me more than the 360 exclusives.

another knock in the 360 category is the pay to play online. as a husband with a limited gaming budget, i tend to spend every last available gaming dollar on NEW GAMES, not on a fee so i can play OLD games online. ...
