Scarlett Johansson...chubby? WTF is the world coming too?

I prefer my women to actually, you know, look like women.

I'd take this:

The game is looking awesome, and I'm really interested in how the story develops depending on your actions.

Now I just want a release date.

inFAMOUS was my favorite game of 2009 (yes, even next to the superb Demon's Souls, Ratchet: ACIT, and Uncharted 2), and I've been waiting for this sequel since I completed inFAMOUS.

Sucker Punch knows how to do sequels, so I have no doubt that inFAMOUS 2 is going to improve over the first in e...

I have no interest in investing in another console in the next 1-2 years.

I feel like the PS3 is just warming up, with all of Sony's 30 first and second party developers coming into their own, building strong franchises and development tools that will make creating PS3 titles REALLY financially viable for the next 2 or 3 years.

Unlike the PSP, it's not time for a successor to the PS3 yet. PC technology has hardly made any evolutionary jumps that requi...

I don't care about the length of the experience, but the quality of the experience.

Of course I don't want to pay $60 for a 2 hour game, but most games this generation are 6-15 hours single player campaign.

It took me 8 hours to beat Heavenly Sword the first time. I've since replayed it 3 or 4 times, each time taking between 5-7 hours to beat. If a game is enjoyable, and has fun game play, I'll go back to it and play it again.

At the end of the day for Sony, MS, and all other companies involved, this is a business.

They're doing this to make money. If Sony and MS can both make money on providing Sony's service to Windows 7 phones, then why the hell WOULDN'T they?

Sony didn't create it's own OS for their VAIO computers, they used Microsoft's Windows. It was a win/win situation. DC Universe Online is both on Windows PCs and the PS3. I don't see a problem h...

I've never been a Splinter Cell fan, but I loved the Prince of Persia Trilogy.

I'll definitely be putting this on my list. I'm loving these HD remasters, and it's making it so that I don't have to worry too badly if my BC PS3 croaks on me again. lol. So far, some of my favorite series from the PS2 era have got an HD remaster: God of War, Sly Cooper, and Ico/SOTC, and they're releasing Beyond Good and Evil, Tomb Raider, and PoP.

Now, if...

A portable Team Ico game? *faints*

As much as I love Naughty Dog, and Insomniac, and Sucker Punch, I think Team Ico is, by far my favorite game developer.

Their games have such an endearing, almost magical quality to them that sucks you in and hits you in the gut with feelings you didn't actually expect to experience while playing a video game.

That, and I LOVE their art design aesthetic. It's funny to me how some journalists want to ...

I actually agree.

Mass Effect, Bioshock, Elder Scrolls, and too many more to list.

I thought the PS3 had a great 2007 (then again, I'm one of the people that thought Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Folklore, Ratchet, Uncharted, Unreal Tournament, and Virtua Fighter 5 were awesome games), but the 360 was coasting off of a year head start, and developers were in full swing. It was the golden boy of the industry from 2005-2008, but 2007 was its last truly great ...

I hate to be "that guy," Noob sessions, but your PS3 section of the list is missing

Resistance 3
Motorstorm: Apocalypse
Yakuza 4
Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One
SOCOM 4
Free Realms (surprisingly enjoyable, and geared towards a younger audience)
DC Universe Online (released, and really fun)
Team Ico Collection (many PS fans haven't played these two amazing titles, and getting to enjoy them in HD is awesome)

Sony has ALWAYS been about the core gamer. And the casual gamer.

The PlayStation consoles/handhelds have always had a great balance between "hardcore" games, and "casual" games. From small to large, blockbuster to niche. It's why people love PlayStation.

I don't think you'll ever hear anyone call a PlayStation "the shooter console," or "the kiddy game console." It's an all games console. The PlayStation ...

Um, Killzone 2 came out two years ago.

Killzone 3 is right around the corner. Crysis 2 is right around the corner.

Wouldn't it be more accurate to, um, compare the two games that are releasing in the same year, instead of comparing a 2 year old game with a DEMO? Not even the final version of Crysis 2?

For me, I have no interest in Crysis 2 (I didn't enjoy Crysis 1. Outside of the visuals, it was a ho hum, by the books PC FPS. I ran it...

I don't care if Killzone is Sony's number one franchise or not.

What matters to me is that the PlayStation 3 has a wide variety of games that are so good you could call any one of them Sony's "number one" franchise and still be right on the money. Gran Turismo? LittleBigPlanet? Uncharted? Killzone? God of War? Don't know, don't care.

I get to enjoy all of the above regardless of it's standing as a franchise. I don't play...

I don't care. I don't see why it's important. Did the 60 million PSP's sold hurt the DS's sales?

It is clear that there is plenty of room in the handheld gaming space for more than one portable gaming device.

Just like the DS and the PSP, the 3DS and the PSP2 do things the other cannot. While I personally think the PSP2 is a better piece of technology all around, that doesn't mean I think the 3DS isn't impressive in it's own ri...

I didn't bother to read this review, nor will I give this site hits, but basing my thoughts on the score given to ME2 PS3, and the title of the article, I have to say that this review is one of the most pathetically spiteful ones I've seen this entire generation.

I know a lot of us PlayStation fans call foul on sites like IGN (deservedly so: their inconsistency and constantly changing standards have lead to some of the most uneven reviews in the industry), but this si...

I think what I'm more interested in (outside of the awesome looking titles like Uncharted, Killzone, and Resistance), are the possibilities for integration with the PS3 as a controller.

If the PSP2 has motion controls, touch screen, rear touch pad, dual analog sticks, and shoulder buttons, I can see the potential for some really interesting connectivity as a PS3 controller.

Sure, there's no rumble in the NGP, but the idea of using that 5" screen ...

I agree. I also think it's possible, thanks to the horsepower of the PSP2, that we may see some titles like Free Realms and DCU Online for the platform.

Free Realms hits the PS3 soon, and I think I vaguely remember Sony wanting to bring it to the PSP also, to push the handheld into a younger generation of gamers.

DCUO is a really good MMO, and if they were to port it to the PSP2, I can see people really responding well to it.

An MMO on a ...

While I agree that the PSP2 has all the right elements to make it a winner, the title of this article seems to imply that PSP was somehow NOT a winner.

It still has a higher install base than the 360 AND the PS3, despite the rampant piracy.

the PSP2 is an impressive piece of tech, and if I have the money, I'll certainly pick it up.

I was looking over the PSP section of the PS Store yesterday, and the software library of the PSP is so unde...

Now you have PC gamers tricking out their gaming rigs to play console centric titles like Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Batman: Arkham Asylum. Not to mention many PC games are now available on both HD consoles (ie, Portal and Team Fortress 2).

But even so, no matter how specced out your PC is, you STILL won't EVER be able to play Killzone, Little Big Planet, Uncharted, Resistance, Metal Gear Solid 4, Valkyria Chronicles, Motorstorm, Gran Turismo, etc, without a PS...

so far, only DCUO, Mass Effect 2 PS3, LBP2, and Dead Space 2 have released this year. great games, and the rest of this year is looking amazing as well, but trying to say that 2010 sucked because 2011 has more games is silly. so, did 2009,08,07 and 2006 suck as well? after all, compared to 2011, those games don't look nearly as awesome. /s
