Mine cost me $656 (with tax), AND I bought Resistance for $60.
More fuel to Sony's case. He's not going to be judged by a jury of his "peers".
They'd find him guilty of wrong-doing just because the little punk is so flippant and arrogant concerning the whole thing.
Getting sued is no joke. Yes, he won against Apple, but this is an entirely different scenario.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for stick...
This is an...INTERESTING...score for the game.
Me and my wife were in the beta, which was great, if not buggy.
We just recently bought the retail version, and we're having a blast.
I've played WoW, City of Heroes/Villains, Conan, Guild Wars, even Free Realms, and I find DC Universe Online more enjoyable than them all. DCUO is hitting all the right notes:
1) It's not high fantasy. The problem with other MMO's i...
Oh yeah, I forgot to comment on White Knight Chronicles in my epic rants above. lol.
WKC was a great, addictive JRPG. The story was absurd, and I think intentionally tongue in cheek cliche, but the game play systems at work were GREAT.
I loved the battle system. I loved the crafting. I loved the town building, and I loved playing with a few of my buddies completing quests and gaining Guild Rank, which opened up more options for crafting. It really did feel li...
@sashimi: ain't that the truth. I don't pay much attention to reviews for my own personal use. I mostly just read them to see how far the gaming media has fallen this generation.
It's more depressing than informative. PlayStation Lifestyle is pretty good at reviews, though. This is the first time I think I've ever disagreed with a reviewer from this site.
My year one of the PS3 was a blast.
I picked up Resistance (when I bought my PS3 in February 2007), then I got Virtua Fighter 5, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, The Darkness, Warhawk (was addicted to that, and it single handedly showed me the potential of the PSN as a multi-player service), Heavenly Sword, Folklore, Ratchet: TOD, Uncharted: DF, Unreal Tournament 3, and a few more multi-plats that were solid, and some PSN titles like Calling All Cars and Flow.
The PSN had...
Folklore is still one of my favorite games of this generation.
It had absolutely AMAZING art design and music. It felt like a whimsical Jim Henson movie. Maybe mixed with a bit of early Tim Burton stuff.
It was such a breath of fresh air when it released, and it still is today. The game play was unique and actually utilized the SixAxis controls really well.
I'd love to see SCEJ and Game Republic produce another Folklore title on the PSP2....
2 hours? I've been playing the game since it's release on Tuesday, and I spend, at the least, 30 minutes per level, not to mention replaying levels once I've acquired new abilities to unlock everything.
The point of the game is to find the secrets so you can level up and become even more powerful, allowing you to find MORE secrets/tricks, etc.
I just finished planet 2, which has 4 stages per planet, so 8 stages. Each stage taking me anywhere from ...
Looks fantastic.
To those saying that there is no way some of the images could be in game, I present this:

For MONTHS people debated this image. They said it was concept art. Why? Because it fricking looks like concept art.
The reality is that that is an in...
It doesn't have L2 and R2 buttons, but the touch pad on the back could easily be programmed to respond like the L2 and R2 buttons, by simply requiring the player to swipe a finger, or tap the touchpad.
Not many games use the L2 and R2 buttons in any significant way. Or they'll only use one of the two (Dragon Age uses the L2 button to bring up the Radial Menu).
Overall, the functionality of the PSP2 outclasses the functionality of it's predecessor ...
I think people are under the impression that Killzone, Resistance, and Uncharted on the PSP2 are simply ports of their PS3 versions. It's been said time and time again that they are new entries in the series.
Sure, they can do straight up ports, but I'd much rather have these new entries, kind of like how GoW: Chains and Ghost, MGS: Portable Ops, and Peacewalker, Kingdom Hearts: BBS, and LBP weren't ports, just new entries in the franchises.
I wou...
The female character is called Nix(for those who don't know). She serves as the little devil on your shoulder telling you to do bad things. She can teleport and shoot black and red type fire. In the second video, you can see her launching those flaming black snake things at enemies while Cole is running around kicking ass.
Game looks amazing. I never had any doubts about Sucker Punch's mastery of the sequel. The Sly Cooper games already made me a fan for life. They ha...
I'm just hoping they expand the Remote Play function.
The thought of being able to play Dead Nation or Flower on my PSP2 is just too enticing for me. Also, just picked up Explodemon, which is fracking AWESOME, and I'd love to see more of that game on the PSP2, whether through remote play, or a brand new adventure. The game is just too damn fun.
Thanks to those two analog sticks, rear touch pad (for mimicking the L2 and R2 buttons), and motion controls...
I expected as much. I just bought the game, and me and my wife are playing on my account. Considering that it comes with an activation key like most MMO's, I just assumed that it'd be locked to my account.
I was going to have to buy a second disc anyway, so me and my wife could play together once I get the second PS3 fixed.
The game is a joy to play, and we're having a ball. I was able to recreate my beta character with not much hassle (my charact...
No, PS3 fans don't need ME1. Sure, it would have been nice to get ME1 on the PS3 as well, but the fact is, it's not, and it doesn't hurt the ME2 experience in any significant way.
I own ME1 and ME2 on my 360. Player decisions for ME1 have relatively minimal effect on events in ME2. That's simply the truth. The only thing that PS3 only owners are missing out on are some returning characters that play bit parts (excluding Tali and Garrus).

One of my favorite games of last generation.
I bought the Gamecube version first, but when I sold my Gamecube (a bit prematurely, but that was when I was actually anticipating the Wii, and thinking I'd get a sweet HD machine to play my GC games on), I bought the PS2 version. Still own it, still love it.
I can't wait for this HD re-release. I'd love to have BG&E on my hard drive to fire up whenever I want.
It's kind of funn...
I'm currently playing through Costume Quest, and I'm looking forward to Stacking and Explodemon this week.
I'm a big Tim Schaefer fan after Psychonauts, so I'm always willing to give his games a shot. I just wish that Stacking was $9.99. I got Costume Quest when it was on sale. There are very few games I'll buy at $14.99, but Stacking is certainly pushing me in that direction.
$15 is simply too much.
The last $15 game I bought on PSN was Dead Nation, and that was totally worth it.
I really like Plants Vs Zombies, but not $15 like. Looks like I'll be picking up Explodemon. $10 is kind of my limit with PSN/XBLA titles. I don't know why $15 is such a barrier, but it really is for me.
tobysims,
to me, that comment just tells me that you've never played Killzone MP.
The multi-player in the original, PlayStation 2 Killzone was one of the BEST things about that game.
Killzone 2 multi-player feels really good, and, being a primarily single player gamer, I was pleasantly surprised at how addicting KZ2 MP was. The overwhelming consensus regarding Killzone 2 is that the single player was good, but the MP was REALLY GOOD. I loved the K...
Wow, this is the first "negative" article I've seen about inFAMOUS 2 outside of the completely embarrassing meltdowns people were having about his character design (seriously gamers, you should be ashamed of yourselves for the way you all behaved concerning Cole's re-design).
I wouldn't worry about the game focusing too much on melee. For sequel coverage, most developers like to focus on what's NEW about the sequel, instead of showing off content exa...
Thanks!
I just think that a lot of sites are putting the wrong people on reviews.
I hate sports games, so you'll NEVER see me reviewing sports games on my website.
I mostly cover action, adventure, and rpg titles on my site. I've been busy, so I've fallen behind in reviews, but I'm hoping to start posting more in the coming weeks.
