I'm still playing Dragon Age: Origins from 2009.

I just don't have the time to play all of these new games!

I just finished re-beating Killzone 2.
I'm in the process of re-beating inFAMOUS 2, Uncharted 2, MGS4, WKC, etc, and I still have games that I bought from last year that I have to either re-beat, or buy (my PS3 died on me in November last year, so I lost all of my game saves, especially the ones that I couldn't back up like Drago...

I used to work at Obsidian, and those guys are awesome. They really love developing games, and they treat their employees better than any of the other video game companies I've worked at in the past.

They are often hamstrung by their publisher, who is often pushing them to release a game at a specific date, even when it needs a few more months polish.

I worked on Neverwinter Nights 2, and even though Obsidian requested more time, Atari, the publisher, for...

Why is this article asking Sony for a Fatal Frame Collection? They don't own the Fatal Frame IP, so it's not up to them to decide if they want to put the resources into it.

Personally, I would LOVE a Fatal Frame HD Collection. I only own the original, and it's one of the scariest games I've every played. I STILL haven't beaten it yet (I'll probably pop it into my PS3 and attempt to brave it one day). Definitely one of my favorite survival horror franch...

she enjoyed Demon's Souls, but found the bosses intimidating, so she'd ask me for help. doesn't diminish her status as a gamer. i don't view myself as some sort of champion because of it. As for pics of my wife, i don't think so. lol. the only pics are on my facebook. lol

I personally don't understand the attitude that there is only ONE type of female gamer, and that she is only interested in things that are cute and pink.

My wife has beaten Mass Effect 1 and 2, Dragon Age: Origins/Awakenings/All DLC, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, etc, before I have, and, at the least, completed them 5-10+ times each (I lost count with Dragon Age and Fallout: New Vegas. She has like, a billion characters on each, it seems). She...

inFAMOUS was my most anticipated game of 2009 (and yes, I'm aware that Demon's Souls, Ratchet: ACIT, and Uncharted 2 hit that year as well).

inFAMOUS 2 is my most anticipated game of 2010 (and yes, I'm aware that Dark Souls, Ratchet: A4ONE, and Uncharted 3 hit this year. lol).

This year is just so full of awesome PS3 exclusives, just like 2010 and 2009, it's hard to keep up with them all. It's a shame that because of my gaming budget, I ca...

I just rebeat Killzone 2 last night, and it had me clocked at 6:57:40. I had 37 deaths (mostly during that fricking storming of Visari Palace and Radec fight. asshole.)

The first time I beat it took me about 10 or so.

Both Resistance games took me over 12 hours.

I just don't find game length a deciding factor for a game purchase unless the game is under 5 hours long.

Nobody bats an eye when Call of Duty consistently has a...

You're right, jack. I really need to stop giving these stories heat. I didn't even think of it being the reason why the stories are always so hot. lol

Kalipeoka,
I don't let my personal preference for the PS3 get in the way of evaluating a game for what it IS.

As I stated in my previous comment, I played Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake, Halo: Reach, and Fable 3 for the 360 last year, and I enjoyed each and every one of them (although Fable 3 was my least favorite of the year).

I haven't gotten around to writing my review of Fable 3, and Halo: Reach, and my wife wrote the Mass Effect 2 review, but ...

Thanks! I actually do write reviews for my gaming website (I won't spam it here).

I don't think that reviewing games is as complicated and subjective as the current gaming media is trying to claim.

I'm a HUGE PS3 fan. I love the machine, and I think it's awesome.

However, I also own an Xbox 360, and had a great time with Mass Effect 2, Halo: Reach, and Alan Wake last year. I wrote my review of Alan Wake, and my wife wrote the ...

Yeah, my wife loved the beta, and she's like, "Just get it, and I'll play on your account." I still have to get our second PS3 repaired before we can play anything together anyway. lol.

Looks like they just convinced me to buy the game.

Me and my wife LOVED the beta, but having to pay $30 for the two of us on a monthly basis was a bit much.

If we're only going to be paying $20 a month for both of us, that's a little better.

I'll see about snagging it for us when I can. I still have to buy two copies of the game in order for both of us to have our own accounts.

My thoughts are that video games should actually be pretty easy to review due to most video games adhering to these common and standard design tenets: Controls, Graphics, Level Design, and Sound. You can add Story/Presentation in there as well if you like for applicable games/genres.

Most of us LIKE when a game has excellent controls, graphics, level design, and sound. Those are the common factors all games have in common.

When judging controls, we want contr...

lol. It's funny how some folks say this site is full of PS3 fanboys, but yet every single time a negative PS3 article crops up, it's a HAVEN for fanboys of the other console to come in and troll.

As for Killzone 3's length, I don't give a rat's ass about game length unless it's less than 3 hours.

Heavenly Sword was reported by game review sites as being 5 hours. I beat the game, normal difficulty, in 9.5 hours. My second playthrough to...

Didn't you hear? Video games are WAY WORSE than being part of gang that ACTIVELY goes causing actual harm to others for their own amusement/status.

That's totally not as bad as playing a fictional video game where SHIT ISN'T REAL, and you are harming no actual living, breathing person or animal.

What are you talking about, Hitler?

He was in his house playing Dig Dug and it just...set him off, so he decided to eradicate the Jews. Everyone knows this. DUH. *rolls eyes*

I don't care if the PSP2 dominates the market. The PSP entertained me for YEARS (and still does), and it didn't dominate the DS. 70 million PSP sales is nothing to scoff at, regardless of piracy. Not all 70 million PSP owners are pirates.

As for the PSP2, it will do remarkably well as long as it's priced reasonably (for me, ideal price would be $250-$300 for the WiFi only version, and $300-$350 for the WiFi and 3G version: people pay upwards of $400 for their iPho...

If that pic above was a PS3 game, where the sole game play element was this puppy looking cute, how could it NOT score a 10/10, 9/10 at the least? If Edge were reviewing this cute puppy, they'd knock off points for it having it's to...

lol. Keep it classy, Edge.

Anyone who didn't see this coming is being naive. At this point, you can pretty much telegraph what Edge is going to score a PS3 exclusive MONTHS before the review even hits.

It amazes me that they actually criticized a first person SHOOTER for having too much SHOOTING.

I wonder what they are going to give Bulletstorm?

It's like the complaints about Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruc...
