Ivan is it? You are delusional and in denial. The Xbox 360 launched a year before the PS3 and the Wii. Yet, the Wii pulled way ahead. Does that mean the PS3 and the 360 weren't competition, too? I didn't think so. So just like the Wii U launched a over a year ahead of the PS4 and XB1, the same should be no different. Its not Sony's fault the other two competitors didn't sell as fast.

Maybe it just doesn't have the TYPES of games some people prefer? Not everyone enjoys the shooter and racer genre, and this is where the console mainly excel at with their 1st and second party. Why do you think it is doing so badly in Japan and Europe? That strategy is only good in the states or the UK for them. People want diversity and I'm not talking about one or two poor ports just to wet their mouth.
By Microsoft building a more powerful system, it is only going to make the system more expensive. There is no way its going to be cheaper, and we all know far too well how a more expensive system of theirs has faired to Sony's system. That's the advantage I see.

There is a difference between a breakout box simply handling the audio and an additional feed to a TV than that of a breakout box handling this AND frame rate, resolution and graphics in the game. The PS4 handles EVERYTHING except the audio and the social screen undistorted. That is it. The heavy lifting is handled by PS4 and this breakout box simply unpacks it for the headset.

You do know Sony has Spider Man cartoons, right? It was a partnership between they and Marvel. My point is, they do more than movies. So making an exclusive game around the character is extremely possible for them.
