If the PS4 averages 1.3 million a month with the numbers already at 47.4, that would make the remaining 2.6. Since the...
XB1 receives new price cut now at a new low $5.99.
@ kstuffs
Name ONE gaming system where Sony supported a format that didn't take complete advantage of their games FIRST and foremost? I'll be waiting...
There is a reason Sony never put the 4K BluRay format into the system and that reason is GAMES not taking advantage of it. So to implement another format into the system just because their competition can't make up their mind is rather pointless. So don't act like it was some desperate mov...
The 50k is only for black Friday. This doesn't include the entire month of November in the UK where the PS4 outsold the Xbox One, and let's not even include how much it outsold the Xbox One globally in November. The XB1 is getting beaten to a pulp
@ xfiles
Yup or less. The gap is at a 2 to 1
Yes they did. Because of Sony's financial situation and the 360 previously leading the race, it was thought that Sony wouldn't have the budget to make a better console or even launch another console. And because Microsoft had taken away so much of their market share, it was believed that their next console would take even more.......which was the direct opposite this generation. So don't spin it now after Sony has reclaim that throne.
@ Septic again

That will put Xbox One at around 24 to MAYBE the 25 million as it currently stands.
I forget that Sony is leading at a 2 to 1 mark right now. For Microsoft to have shrank that gap is not likely at all if they aren't doing very well on their own soil let alone globally.
And its OUTTA THERE!
What was once thought to be a great feat and victory has come to an end for Microsoft's Xbox streak. And now we are back to phase one once again with another 'wait and see' followed by a dozen excuses about when the Xbox will claim back it's own soil for a brief period so that the fans can toot their horns while prancing in the rain with their bright red pom poms claiming another comeback.
.....
Instead wishing for other competitor games, Microsoft needs to start by developing their own "Mario" and Uncharted IPs. Hell, Sony and Nintendo do it all the time. You don't see any of them wishing for Halo.
@ XMessiah23x
Only in your wildest dreams will Scorpio run laps around the Pro. The performance between these two systems will be smaller than you think despite what the paper work regarding the specs would have you to think.
Kool!
I'm in!
Itagaki is an idiot. That only applies to the Xbox One since it can't run VR at all. The PS4 runs VR just fine.
@ darth
Out of 3 years? Stop playing
@ ageofmythology
Stupid article.
What about PlayStation VR and Vue? Are you kidding me? Everything you said was based on a half-assed opinion.
Really true 4K.... LOL!
These guys are desperate. The Pro is already achieving true 4K. How much "true" can you get? I guess Scorpio's 4K is going to make you seem like you're flying or something. LoL!
It must be killing them that the Scorpio is so far off from launch as Sony dominates the market from every angle with them having absolutely no way to counter Sony back other than telling everyone to please wait on them to launch the Scor...
Homing in on Xbox One's streak
Um....no. The XB1 is not the PS3. In fact, it sells lesser than the PS3 in the same given time frame. But let's forget about those numbers for a second and focus on the bigger picture here. Unlike the XB1, the PS3 was constantly selling better than the 360 on a global scale despite the 360 having a firm grip on select regions -- leading at a 2 to 1 in total sales there. Regardless of the fact, the PS3 was able to shrink an 8 million gap and eventually eliminated it completely and pulled a...
The lead is most certainly now slightly over a 2 to1 ratio. Microsoft probably sold near 3 million Xbox consoles in that same time frame. It's likely at a low 26 million and some change for Microsoft's system.
