No thanx, Mr Jobes. After that trash of a game you call, "StarHawk" or a "spiritual successor to WarHawk," HELL and then NO. You didn't even bother to listen to the fans in the beta, and for that very reason is why SH took a nose dive to it's death and why people lost their jobs.
What I don't understand is how could a team of developers completely screw up a combat system that worked and quite well in exchange for a hafe-a**ed Call of Duty rip...

WTH!
FYI, the PS3 had a CPU (aka Cell) that assisted the GPU.

The Xbox360 had nothing of a kind. So of couse the PS3 was able to outperform it later on down the line. The only drawback was t...

It is a stereo camera. If its not going to work like a stereo camera, then why bother having a stereo camera to begin with? They could have easily made the PSeye an HD camera and shipped it with a single lens if all it was going to do was track the Dualshock 4. They could have saved themselves the extra cost and the whole confusion.
Seeing how this is not the case all, expect the device to track the user three dimensionally, as well.
LOL!
Do you know what type of device Kinect is? It's a SINGLE RGB CAMERA that relies on depth sensors to find a Z field. This is not the same as Eye Toy, PSeye, or the PS4eye.
The Eye Toy and PSeye Is an RGB camera that uses a boxing technique to find the Z field -- for the face anyway while the PS4eye simple uses an additional eye to find the Z field. Take note that ALL THREE eye cameras are already capable of tracking full body, 2D motions, which I'...
I disagree. The light bar on the back of the DualShock 4 is basically a Move controller on it's own but lacking in apperance. So by making the DS4 standard with every console, the PS Move becomes standard by default as it, too, relies on a light source for the camera to track.
Yeah right.... This is bs. name one system or game that uses cloud without a price tacked onto it? Now how is what ms doing so different? Expect a fee to be tacked on to these so called ''cloud games''. And don't expect every game to use it as there is not enough servers to continuously support every single game on the system. This is pr bs.
Not just that. But because this is the "cloud" we are talking about with all of their games linked to these servers, that kinda stuff doesn't come cheap. MS could very well stable an additional fee to these games in order to manage these servers. I mean, why do you think Online and GaiKai charges their users? What makes MS so special in this case? I think too many people are getting too far caught up in the hype of it all.
@ Loki86
Now you are just talking through your butt. If what you say WERE the case, then tell me then what the heck is THIS:

No surprise there. I always knew that they had a strategy in this department related to television. I just couldn't put my fenger on what it was exactly. You forget, this is the same company that launched a console with a CD player (PS1), a DVD player (PS2), a BluRay player (PS3), UMD and Location Free (PSP and Vita). Why would they stop there with a gaming only platform with a NetFlix app? Sorry, but this doesn't sound like Sony at all in the very same way I didn't believe that t...
@ Belking
"being that they are two different types of cameras, this one kills the ps4 eye camera. Kinect is a dept sensing camera"
Ok....
But answer me this: What is a stereo camera?

ACTUALLY, the Dual Shock 4 is closer to a Move controller more than you think. I would say that it is more on par with the Wii-mote than the Move but in a more hardcore form.
If you look here:
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/w... and here http://en.m.wikipedia.org/w...
....you'll notice that the Wii-mote supports ...
That is why some people, like myself, invest in anti-reflective television sets.
Its posts like this that causes the gaming industry to plunder.
Not all gamers want to set around playing shooters, especially with dated controls all the time. Like Move, if this light bar can bring something new to the game without lag to enhance the play, then I say bring it on.
Based on what we do know about the Move controller, this light bar will add more than just a glowing light to the game.

"- PS2 100 + million
- Xbox 25 million
Thats a 75 million difference ...
And now you're here trying to prove a point with a 1 million gap for Sony ... geez oh how the mighty have fallen ... how they have fallen indeed !"
Comments like this are so pointless. First of all, this generation isn't over yet, so while you are here comparing full worldwide sales to a ceased platform(s), you are di...

Let me get this straight: when Microsoft copies Apple's AirPlay with SmartGlass
http://www.youtube.com/watc...
.....no one says anything. But when Sony comes up with a similar app for the PS4, which, if I may add, derived from remote play on the PSP to PS3 back in 05, suddenly there is a problem?
Yeah, alrighty then
I asled myself this same question, and do you know what I came up with? A rock and a had place.
Ok, it is rumored by very trusted sources that the 720's UI is going to be a memory hog due to MS aiming to make the console a full blown media device while running apps paralle to one another. Hence the part where the system is suppose to run multiple games at one time.
On the other hand, Sony's system is say to do less, which, in the end, consumes less RA...

PSeye came out in 2007 AFTER Sony already tested out the Zcam in 2004 ( http://www.youtube.com/watc... ) ( http://podcasts.aolcdn.com/... ) which was patent by 3DV Systems. In 2009, MS bought 3DV Systems out, used their tech and made Kinect.

@ alexkoepp
It's called MARKETING.
If they don't get the awareness out that a camera, a 3D camera that works with the DualShock 4 at that, is available on the system, people would think such a device ONLY EXISTS on Microsoft's console, and so consumers would flock their instead as well as MS getting all the glory. History has proven this countless times.
For example, when Sony first launched the EyeToy for the PS2, people didn't even k...
