They f**ked up. They should of dropped ps3/360 and added a release for PC. Then we would of had a next gen experience with PC,PS4 & Xbox One. (Sadly people ran out and bought in droves, so now they'll make their $$$ and then rip everyone off for DLC)

Developing for the lowest common denominator including last gen consoles decreased a lot of opportunity and potential that Destiny could of achieved. Are we to believe that every single game in this series will be cross-g...

Wouldn't be much of a remaster if all 3 fit on 1 BR. Not if you want some nice hires textures etc.

Witcher 3 more like it! :p Now that is gonna be the best looking next gen game for a wile IMO.

Damn these remasters must be selling well! I'm sorry but isn't this getting a little old now? I think the line is beginning to be crossed here, come on.

As great as some of these projects can sometimes turn out - Where the hell are the new IPs??? This is what Devs/Pub. should be announcing & releasing...Not remasters/Reboots. Shit is getting outta hand IMO.

Hell, at the very least if your going to remaster or reboot a game, pick a game that could ...

*ETA* $20 per DLC is one way of milking the shit out of Destiny and sadly is looking like the only way gamers will get the content they originally thought they were getting on release.

I think it is pretty obvious with Activision at the helm this is exactly what is going to happen/happened.

I wouldn't be surprised one bit if I were to find out down the road that they stripped content to sell later as DLC. Damn shame. No thanks, I'll wait til it'...

I base games off of how I feel personally after playing of course. I have yet to play Destiny. I'm not saying the game is bad from my own experience but I am relating what I have been seeing and reading...I will have to play it first in order to make a final judgement.

I still confidently stick by what I wrote before on this site and above - Destiny is not going to reach the expectations or it's potential until a few DLC's/expansions release or worst case scenario...

From the looks of it, the game is not what it was advertised to be and has been getting bad user reviews left and right. I called this as soon as I heard feed back from the beta. Damn shame, this game has a lot of potential. It will more than likely reach some of that potential but not until Destiny 2 releases.

I honestly doubt someone could do 2 complete playthroughs on harder difficulties without missing shit and just rushing through the game in 15 hours! Come on man.

Unless you are doing speed runs or missing 1/2 of what the game has to offer there is no way in hell that is happening. I doubt 1 playthrough @ 15 hrs without at least missing a fair amount of content.

I wasn't trying to throw a personal attack at you but I call B.S. when I see it.

You are full of shit or you played on easy and barely explored or did every side quest. Go play on hard or dark mode and then come say that b.s. GTFO.

Can't say I was impressed. It is all about the content and it's quality for me. Something I feel Destiny will lack at least until it's first inevitable expansions/sequel.

4296d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

My primary concern with Destiny stems from the amount of content and the quality of that content that will end up in the final release minus any DLC/expansions.

I have this nagging feeling that it will be in my best interest to wait a few months post-release or even until Destiny 2 launches in order to get the "full experience" with the substantial and satisfying content and gameplay I'm wanting and expecting.

No one is in any legitimate positio...

Interesting. I love the Metro games. Curious to see how a sandbox/open word Metro game could turn out. Personally, I'm hoping for larger/free spaces and not your standard open world. I feel they excel at the isolated, claustrophobic linear structure they have done well in Metro 2033 and Last Light.

"20 open world games that you'll never stop playing "

"stopped after 2nd Call of duty after 2nd god of war"

Stopped reading after that.lol. Neither one of those games you mentioned is open world.

I have a GTX 770 as well and I'm hoping it fairs well. I'd think if the consoles are pushing PC high then at the very least a gtx 770 should be doing the same @ 60fps with maybe a few toggles set higher.

A good CPU & GTX 770 Combined with at least 8gb ram is vastly superior to what the consoles can do on paper.I presently have a i5-4670k with a modest OC @ 4.0ghz

I'm waiting for pricing & performance of the GTX 880 and if it exceeds the 78...

To each their own. Me? PC all the way. I wouldn't give it a second thought. If trophies mean that much to you then get it on the PS4. However, if you have a gaming PC that will potentially do Witcher 3 justice, there is absolutely no reason to get it on any other platform but PC.

If not for the better performance & visuals then at least for the mods that will eventually come out after release. Oh, there is a very good chance TW3 will have achievements through gog gal...

No you fools, it is called PR talk! I do not expect many devs of any company unless we are talking 1st party devs. saying anything of the kind of which is "better" At the end of the day TW3 is a PC game first and foremost.
The console versions are being developed side by side to the PC, all 3 separately. No ports. They are not going to be idiots and say " yeah! the ps4 is going to have this and this" wait until the game releases and then accuse Parity.

True. However, if you are curious about different endings, of course we will have to do a few play through. If Witcher 3 turns out half as good as I believe it's going to, this won't be an issue! I will gladly do multiple runs.

4312d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

I believe TW3 will NOT be linear at all. Otherwise it would not have 36+ possible ending world-states etc. I understand what you meant though. There are other factors of the end though. Who is in power and where and the Lodge. The year that Witcher 3 takes plave 1272 is a very important year in the witcher world.

For fear of spoilers I will not post them here but take it from me, a lot is going on or could potentially happen.Book readers should know what I'm talking about...

Witcher 3 has day & night cycles and it also has dynamic weather. They have not shown it off yet and I have the impression it will turn out to be some of the very best dynamic weather that we have ever seen. You can see storms brewing in the distance, if caught at sea on your boat the waves & storm will capsize the boat. And yeah there is a lot going on on-screen. Individual string on Geralts elbows moving in the wind, hair look at the grass and the trees waving in the environment int...
