Agreed. However, this site has always been pro-Sony. Playing on PC has giving me a good perspective, I do not get into these petty, immature console wars. You're right, people have forgotten what being a gamer is all about, sad really.

Then you need to play it. Best version is on PC with it fully modded out, trust me. it's a great experience. Personally, I had more fun with Fallout 3, New Vegas and Fallout 4 modded on PC but Skyrim is definitely worth a playthrough, modded or not.

Blame SE for that one. They obviously didn't greenlight a Sleeping Dogs sequel, hence Triad Wars and Smash N Grab. UFG stated they didn't own the rights to the Sleeping Dogs IP, they were as much a victim of circumstance with the reins being held by SE and the fans lost out, a damn shame truly. I hope that they're bought or at the very least some good game companies hire UFG devs.

::Fingers Crossed:: We were already severely burnt with RDR never getting a release on PC, which is a damn shame considering how great that game is and the higher resolution, 60 fps, mods and visual fidelity could have done wonders for an already amazing game.

Well, if it actually launches in the fall of '17, a year wait isn't that bad. Look at games like The last guardian as one example with plenty other games that announce 2-4 years before release. With that in mind, it's a matter of perspective. A year will fly by before you know it.

B.S. when the PC gets a release it's curtains for any other platform and these are facts. Mods alone will bring the PC ver. above the other two platforms. It would be nice if everyone could play though, regardless of which is better, as long as the game is good, runs well and again, we ALL get the opportunity to play it, without the need of shelling out a few hundred $$$ for a console or waiting a year. R* business practices are leaving a lot to be desired of late.

I hope....even if it's still shitty having to wait. However, the wait will be worth it! Mods, performance and the most visually impressive if we get a PC release, just like GTA V.

Thank you for your reasonable and thoughtful post and for signing the PC petition. I wish there were more people that were like-minded instead of belittling gamers who play on other platforms, it's made large swaths of the gaming community look like entitled, immature assholes when it should be more mature, respectful and united...We all love gaming, right?

Competition is good for everyone, don't get me wrong, but when you have people going out of their way to insul...

Ridiculous if they don't release a PC version, AGAIN. It'd be complete B.S. and nonsensical considering R* has practically every game they've ever made on PC...Except one of their best, RDR. And, why the need for immaturity on this site among others with the asinine system war drivel.
Console players love to get their digs in, I suppose in retaliation to PCMR assholes, however, I'll just go a bit low myself and make a prediction - If R* doesn't release RDR 2 for P...

I don't understand console gamers surprise of not having console commands, this will never change. A survival mode would have been a nice addition. We'll see what modders can come up with in the near future for XB1 gamers, hopefully they will be able to create something akin to a survival mode. Then again I play on PC and I'm not currently aware of the limitations of mods on console. I also think Oblivion or Morrowind were better choices for a remaster than Skyrim. Although I unde...

From my understanding, CDPR had the rights to do what they wished. The games are non-canon, giving them complete creative freedom, other than them sticking as close to the characters and lore as possible from the novels. The Witcher game trilogy, if you know the books, is a non-canon continuation.

3436d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

CDPR paid for the rights before making Witcher 1 and from an interview earlier this year that I watched he said it was the right amount of money, not giving any definitive information. He's a very sarcastic individual and the language barrier for non-Polish speakers makes things even harder to discern what's what. He's a cynic and can come across as an asshole but, in truth, I do not think he's the dickhead most think he is. There are a few talks and interviews with English sp...

"After reading this book I'm firm in my thought that the developers of the game are better story tellers than the author. "
No, you don't get it. The first two novels chronologically are The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny, both of which are just that, short story collections. The Last Wish, the book you read, is supposed to flow exactly as you described and IMHO, I love how it has interlude chapters continuing Geralt's recovery and stay at the temple of Melitele...

Sound only a 7 though? Hey, we all like what we like, not trying to hate. I think the OST from TW3 and both Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine to be some of the greatest music of any modern game. The Witcher series as a whole has had fantastic music throughout. Is your score lower because of sound effects and ambient music? They aren't bad nor are they the best per se but surely good. Oddly enough, I'd rearrange the Gameplay and Sound, however, I'd give the Gameplay 7.5-8.0 and Gr...

I believe that was his/her point. It never had a PC version which is a damn shame. I had it on the XB360 but now that I have a gaming PC I'd love to have RDR in my collection with improved visuals and performance, surely I'm not alone in wanting that? Plus, you have thousands, if not millions of potential PC gamer sales for a game like RDR. I could see a PC RDR remaster selling a million copies easily.

R* should of made a PC port years ago, at the very least, they owe ...

Fingers crossed. That and please have a PC version this time around R*. Not having RDR on PC is a damn sin.

Very close 2nd imo. Horse riding in TW3 regardless of some bugs is most definitely excellent and up there with RDR. However, from memory, RDR is still #1 when it comes to horse riding. TW3 is the only other game since RDR that actually implemented good horse riding mechanics and visuals that impressed me.

3491d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

There are two games imho that do horse riding justice, RDR being the first and best and the 2nd would be Witcher 3. I'm talking realism and capturing what it feels and looks like riding a horse. the horse riding didn't get boring for me, I thought it was done very well.
