Everything that has been shown EXCEPT the Microsoft presentation @E3 was PC footage.

This is exactly why I went PC gaming rig exclusively this "Gen" The performance and graphical increase plus no way would I miss out on the awesome mods again like i did last Gen. Everything else that PC gaming opens up as well of course as a bonus.

Go watch the uncompressed footage and then come back and say that. Gamersyde.com is your friend.

Sorry but that was the PC version of the game running @ Gamescom and post-Microsoft stage E3.
The only console footage was the very first demo @ Microsoft stage E3. Which was on Xbox One @ 900p I believe.

Well, you need to remember this game comes from a series of books, not the other way around, like a book being created to expand a games universe i.e. Halo books. The story is quite deep and could easily become complex for someone who knows absolutely zilch about the characters, world and story/plot. More importantly, you will miss out on some awesome games and books.

I know they will have recap movies but nothing beats experiencing a game for yourself. If you have a 360 or a...

@inmusicutrust - I would recommend Witcher 1.I'd also recommend that you do read the books, if only the first two short story collections if you do not like to read a lot. I say that because you will have a better understanding of story, world and characters. 3 Primary characters - Geralt of Rivia, Yennefer and Ciri (A.K.A. Cirilla) so the experience of all 3 games will be much more enjoyable, since you will fully understand and appreciate everything.

It is rough around ...

Plenty of time bro to get caught up on the books. I'm still reading Baptism of Fire, 3 of 5 in the main saga,The fifth book counting the 2 short story collections, The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny. These books are so good.

I am going to be sad when they end and of course be super hyped for Witcher 3. I'm going to do another play through of TW1 & TW2 before TW3 releases, I know at least 1 more of each, maybe do 2 more runs of Witcher 2 so I can get the exact endi...

To be perfectly honest, his hair, what little he had was fine! Let us get a better, closer look at some other NPC and major characters during dialogues and gameplay before make any premature assertions and statements.

I know it is your opinion but look at the main protagonists hair, Geralt of Rivia. His hair looks great, truly some of the better hair I have ever seen in a game.

As Darkwatchman said - Hair is extremely complicated to render in video games. The ...

The monster morphing is going to be cool! We got to see it with the Werewolf in the Downwarren demo and I found out during the 'Sword of Destiny' trailer @ 2:04-2:05 slow down the play-time and you will notice the monster at the end before the CGI outro, morphs into a larger/slightly different version. Awesome stuff that IMO is "Next Gen". Real-time morphing in-game is badass.

The other thing to point out in this interview that certainly clarified one thing ...

I think it may of already been paid. Think about it for a sec. CDPR were on Microsoft's stage TWICE back to back, 2013 and 2014. I think this was their payment to Microsoft for that privilege of stage time. This is what the statement about having the game recognized worldwide would mean IMO.

To be honest, I am not a fan of this decision but I know very well that it could of turned out a lot worse i.e. Exclusivity for 1 platform,DLC exclusivity and on and on.

Damn. I thought I'd never see the day, guess I've seen it all lol. to think I ordered the PC C.E. There was never an option for me here, whether I owned a console or not. The point obviously ere is I never thought CDPR would do some shit like this. Consider me disappointed. Physical exclusive items is pretty low, especially at the price I am already paying. For those that are pre-ordering on Xbox, enjoy whatever extra stuff you get.

You do know that you can use a xbox controller on PC right? BTW, I'm almost 100% positive it is PC footage. The only Xbox One footage they have shown so far was the first gameplay presentation @ the Microsoft Stage.

Everything else has been PC. There are a few things that need to be taken into consideration when it comes to the visuals and the game - They are still 6 months from release and are optimizing the game(Optimization is towards the latter part of development,all...

Awesome! Witcher 3 is my most anticipated game of 2015 and beyond at this point.Until the next Fallout ;) I cannot wait to grab my C.E. come February and play this gem!

What are you talking about exactly? They have already showe3d dismemberment in the Microsoft demo presentation and the same demo played with commentary from one of the CDPR devs. played a little bit differently.

Looking forward to the demo but man, it's a catch 22 with the spoilers that will be revealed in the quest that is being presented. Honestly, at this point I know and have seen enough before release.

I've already pre-ordered the PC C.E. so it's not like I'm undecided if I want to play it or not. I love the first 2 games and I'm presently reading the books that inspired the games, the Witcher saga. ( Highly recommended btw)

I will try to ho...

I wish The Witcher 3 was releasing tomorrow! This is the game I just cannot wait to play! Everything they have talked about and I'm assuming a few things they have yet to reveal, all of it has me stoked! Only thing I don't dig is the auto-refilling/infinite potion idea.

I need to see and know more about how that works, it may turn out great but I still miss alchemy from Witcher 1. Regardless, this game looks incredible and the scale sounds massive to go along with th...

It's a great time to be a RPG fan IMO. There are a lot of promising and awesome games coming out in the next 1-2 years. There has been a resurgence of old school CRPG in the last couple of years which is awesome.

I was just about to mention Divinity Original Sin and Pillars of Eternity. @edqe - Wasteland 2 and Torment: Tides of Numenera as well. Then you have Expeditions: Conquistador,Shadowrun Returns and Inquisitor.

For the RPG fans of old and for the y...

It is a legimate reason to respect them and like them. Everyone is different and different reasons for liking or disliking. I love CDPR for their excellent games, superb (pretty much unheard of these days in gaming) business practices and the respect and decency they show to the fans and the consumers.

Lead platform being PC is great and it is another reason I have a lot of respect for them. There aren't enough devs out there anymore willing to give the love the PC deserv...
