Every click bait article, whether xbox or ps4 are are all B.S. IMO. it's beyond the point of getting old and tired. It's childish. Anyone who sincerely worships, defends and justifies a f**king brand, is a fool and is in need of a reality check. Console war? LMAO. what a joke.

On the topic of bias - This site seems to lean towards Sony more than anything. Anyone who disagrees is either a Sony lover or in denial.
I have nothing against either console, I do not...

All three versions are being developed side by side. I'd imagine they start with PC and then transfer on down but CDPR have said numerous times that they are developing them in tandem and not just merely porting to console as an afterthought.

Well, when you consider the budget, smaller # of staff and the leap of production and overall quality of Witcher 1 to Witcher 2 and just how damn good Witcher 2 turned out, I'd say it does deserve a mention of being one of the best games last gen.

Althoguh I disagree with his/her comment, I think Witcher 1 is awesome. Especially considering it was the developers very first video game.

Look at the increase in quality CDPR have shown in a very short amount of time.
Kinda like a young Bioware, Baldur's gate being their first step into gaming.

I enjoy both studios games but I prefer the Witcher.

We'll see.

The main thing I notice a lot of gamers tend to miss about just how good the Witcher 3 looks is that it's open world! A world, that is quite possibly 3x larger than Skyrim,if not more.(landmass)

That is pretty impressive if you ask me. Then couple that with everything else we know about the game, Witcher 3 is a looker and IMO will be one of the best looking,if not best looking games of 2015.

That particular photo when rotated vertically and zoomed in, reveals a pretty interesting detail for any fans of the Witcher saga novels. If curious, take a peek around where Triss' necklace. You will notice a difference in her skins appearance.

She was badly burned during the battle at Sodden Hill/Hill of the fourteen. Well, that image appears to be showing the remnants of what couldn't be healed.

CD Project Red, the developers behind the Witcher games are not known for doing
traditional DLC, when they do release any extra post-release content, it is free via patches/updates.So no free dlc or season pass b.s. (Thankfully)

However, I do believe with Witcher 3 they are planing some paid for DLC post-game with substantial content ranging 15-20 hours of content, nothing petty and expensive. They will also have their free extras (Not sure how they will do it with con...

It's great for those who have yet to play any of these remastered/definitive edition games when they first released and with improvements on the new consoles.

Seeing this increase of "cash grabs" and lack of games has solidified my choice this gen with finally building a gaming rig. Sure,I'll miss out on a few exclusives ( until I grab one of the consoles but much later, when they actually have games worth playing) but right now, I have access to every defin...

I enjoyed the video.I understood what it was and accepted that. People who peek at the title and assume have no one but themselves to blame. I'd wager that SDCC footage will not materialize until gamescom or shortly after. If we are lucky maybe next week. Most of the time there are exclusivity rights for whereever the footage appeared,I see it being no different in this case. Patience, it will be released soon enough.

As much as I'd love to watch this demo presentatio...

I'd love to grab one myself but I think I'm going to wait a few months after release that way I can evaluate the variant models that will soon follow. Benchmarks & reviews etc.

If you don't mind me asking, why the 8gb in particular? I am well aware of the recent as well as future increasing VRAM requirements but I'd think 4-6gb of VRAM would be sufficient.

*Edit* I'll add that if the 8gb models that much more of an increase of price t...

A damn shame we still need to worry and have people make such a big deal over sex in gaming. Violence has been a part of gaming as far as I can remember but sex, what little there has been in gaming so far has been heavily frowned upon,to the point it's ridiculous.

These same people bitching about it I'd imagine engage in sexual intercourse themselves OR maybe they don't and they are just severely jealous so they complain and seek out scapegoats!

Well buddy, this is going to be a completely open world!

They are trying to innovate by keeping their multilayered,non-linear story telling intact at the same time.

That is one of the biggest challenges they face yet one of the most exciting aspects to experience in-game if they pull it off as promised.

I enjoy both series. Elder Scrolls and the Witcher. I love them for different reasons without having to exclude one over the other.

I recommend anyone not familiar with the novels that inspired the Witcher games to go check them out.

The Witcher novels are absolutely fantastic that stand alone and they will also help any Witcher fan or newcomer to the series bridge the gap between missing lore, back story, characters, plots ETC. To me, they are without a doubt, essential.

Then and maybe only then, will some of these naysayers who continuously state the Witcher as being a "immature seri...

You are absolutely incorrect there. You sound like you either never played the games or you didn't understand them.

I can understand this opinion about the first game but the second Witcher game did have reasons to show nudity. The witcher world is very much like ours,The parallels are very close.Lovers & couples have sex. People still go to whore houses or pick up a girl on the street corner. The witcher world is harsh just as our world has it's shades of ugly gr...

So far what I have read sounds promising! Let us hope we get to see gameplay sooner than later.

I am also curious about ID tech 6. I thought I read awhile ago that John Carmack finished up work on the next iteration of ID tech before he left. Wonder what was added and fixed?

If you are familiar with the Witcher source material ( Novels) you would know how sex is represented. It is no different here then in any other mature novel or series.

I honestly do not see a issue with having sex in a video game.As long as it serves a purpose in the narrative and is not overdone for the simple sake of showing nudity.

Here I thought most of us were sick of the medium being frowned upon and not being legitimately considered as an art form inst...

You are entitled to that opinion but I cannot help but think you are completely missing the premise and point of this game.

It is also being created by one person I believe. Looks great with all things considered - Man power and resources.

Witcher 2 was not open world. Other than that, I have no doubt that Witcher 3 is going to be absolutely amazing.

Going by the past two games in the series and everything I currently know about Witcher 3, I believe it has a very good chance of being the best in the series and one of the best games to come out in years.

I'll re-post here what I wrote in another comment -

Sword of destiny is not translated in English unfortunately, but you can still read it via fan translations. There are no plans to translate/release so I'd read this one from the link, since they skipped Sword of destiny chronologically.

Agree 100%

I couldn't of said it better myself.
It is a real shame that a lot of gamers will not or cannot go back to enjoy some of the classics.

I grew up playing the older games just as you did and I was fortunate to see the visual progression over the years.

Many gamers now are either -
1.)too young to know any better and have become accustomed to shiny realistic visuals and/or
2.)there are many who are simply -...
