You have been pal, look! you have some fresh poo dripping down your leg from the exit of their a$$ f**king! Those bastards!!!

I have to agree with a lot of what you posted.

On the same price paid but not same content stance? This is exactly why CD Projekt RED are awesome and becoming one of the most popular game developers and unsung heroes of the industry IMHO.

Call it what you will or think of it in anyway you like - It doesn't change the fact most AAA devs and publishers milk franchises and ripoff the gamers 9/10 with dlc and exclusive offers.

Then you have t...

I see what you are saying. Maybe he was so blown away by the behind closed doors presentation he was dumbfounded! lol :P

Enough time for me to finish the books and save up a little bit for a new GPU or dedicated physX to help me run the game optimally!

4229d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Precisely what you said. CD Projekt RED have already stated that the enemies, human and monster alike, were rendered easy for demo purposes only.

This is almost common knowledge at this point if you have been following the game, surprised the writer did not know that.

I would still highly recommend playing the games (and reading the novels to those who've yet to read them) for yourself. HOWEVER, for anyone who believes they will NEVER play or finish the games (or books, the wiki contains information from them as well.) the links down below will help you get caught up with the story.

As I've said, I cannot sincerely emphasize enough that it's best to experience this awesome game series on your own. The first game does not take a ...

You ae the one coming off as immature I might add. Otherwise,@Tross - Great write up! I agree with just about everything you had to say.

Off-topic - Ubisoft deserves almost every damn jab they have coming their way. The gamers who defend them are either fanboys/girls or ostriches with their heads in the sand.

Ubisoft are not the only offenders but in other areas of game development, they have screwed up a lot i.e. - PC ports, false advertizing/bait & swit...

@Potnoodle999 @R6ex
If you haven't yet,I would def. recommend the books that inspired the Witcher games. They are great. If you enjoy reading and fantasy, then it's a no brainer.

Wish it was February already!

Anything is possible. Especially these days. I would bet on a downgrade coming from Ubisoft way before I'd see a Zelda down grade.

This new Zelda looks great technically and artistically. Zelda games have always relied on their art. Whoever felt the need to down vote me above is either clueless or misunderstood what I was trying to say.

@elhebbo16
Yeah, for a long time they said only that you could swim above the water. then they recently revealed you could now dive underwater, anywhere that water is deep enough to dive in.

There will be hidden treasure to find too. Some that is hidden in caves only reachable via diving underwater and of course,at bottoms of lakes I imagine.

This game is going to be epic.

The Last Wish, then Sword of Destiny, then blood of elves.

Sword of destiny is not translated in English unfortunately, but you can still read it via fan translations. There are no plans to translate/release so I'd read this one from the link, since they skipped Sword of destiny chronologically.

This number has been known for a long time now. They have said around 80 since almost the reveal./ The exact amount of course is unknown. Don't spoil the game for yourselves, that is all I will say about that one.

What I am more curious about is the different variants within a species of monsters. They were in the first two games and I am curious if Witcher 3 monster species variants will count as separate or be filed under the 80 or so monster types.

If y...

I highly doubt it.

Witcher 3 is one of the most anticipated games of any genre right now.

The world is going to be huge from the sounds of it. One major thing to keep in mind,an this is not saying it will be barren with nothing to do.

I believe the size and scope of Witcher 3 is for proper scaling of the areas we will visit.

Skyrim and many other similar open world games can at times feel cramped. walk 15-20ft. and there are caves and dungeons everywhere. I love the content, don't get me wrong.

I believe Witcher is going for a ...

I believe it is going to be.

One interview I was watching yesterday stated you will even be able to dive underwater in the ocean, although the dev advised it may not be the best idea - monsters underwater and the waters off the Skellige coast are freezing! lol.

This game is looking awesome.I Cannot wait until Feb. 2015.

@BattleN - You are probably going to be right about less bugs but I'd argue that is because out of all of these games Zelda will be the less "complex" game of the bunch. Technically speaking.

That does not mean it will not look great and play great. It is just not as ambitious as Witcher 3 or the division from a technical point of view.

I think this along with TressFX is a very promising and a great move for the industry.

Do I want "dynamic destruction/physics/animations "? Of course I do, though I'd argue we've seen much more of that than we have of properly rendered hair and fur.

Hair is one of the hardest things to render in gaming. How many games out there have truly implemented realistic looking & moving hair? there are not many, I think of only a few that can be c...

It is using Direct Compute. I read it on the Witcher forums many times for the very reason many still question if it will run on consoles or AMD cards.

CD Projekt RED are doing everything in their power to get this hair tech to consoles. Last I had heard, consoles were going to use a special LOD setting. Whether this has changed I do not know for sure.

My understanding is that it will work on AMD cards, though still not 100% about consoles.
As I said a...

@AndrewLB - thanks for those images. They look incredible. I am still looking forward to eventually getting around to playing WD. I am just waiting for as many patches and performance fixes/drivers before I jump in the game.

With the recent Guru3D findings,I think I will give the game a shot.

@Prototype_79L down below - I agree that some of the blame can be laid at the feet of whiny spoiled gamers who actually have no idea what a bad game looks and plays like...
