Ubisoft? Who's Ubisoft?
I've reached a point where I just don't give a damn about Ubisoft games. They've dropped completely off my radar so to speak. It's okay though. Not enough time and money for me to play every darn game worth playing out there, so somebody has to go and Ubisoft made it easy by sawing off the branch they're sitting on.
Forums. The place inhabited by the vocal minority. It's not those that one should fear. It's the silent majority who will determined whether this game will float or not.

I don't see SWTOR, GW2 or any other MMO in production as being capable of killing WoW. Knocking down the subscriber base a couple of millions or so, sure, but outright killing it? No. WoW's biggest enemy is still Blizzard. They are the ones who can kill WoW. Some would even say that they're trying to do that right now.
Commodore ship? Fitting name. Whenever I play Minecraft, I'm always reminded of the good times I had on the Commodore 64 and Amiga computers that I grew up with.
Has happened to me a couple of times in fast moving first person view games running at very high FPS on a CRT screen. It wasn't bad. Just felt a bit disoriented. For some reason, I've never experience any hint of motion sickness with games running on an LCD display. Don't know if there's something about CRT vs. LCD that makes a difference. It's just my personal observation.
I don't really care much about who is winning.
A lot of the games I play are PC exclusives (flightsims, MMOs, RTSes etc.) or simply run/look better on the PC (Skyrim etc.). I can only think of a couple of games I would have liked to play that are console exclusives. So my focus is obviously on PC gaming since I can't justify buying a console for just a couple of games.
I don't have any particular loyalty to PC gaming though.

Even if half of them said "enough is enough" and simply left, it would still be a financial success. Basically, if slashed in half, those are still crazy numbers.
I'm pretty sure the article is wrong in terms of stating that Dust 514 is coming out for PS3 and PC. It's for PS3 ONLY, which a lot of EVE online players are not too happy about.
If the game costs twice as much, I'll only buy half as many games at best since I only have so much money that I can spend on games. Games are a luxury item after all. Food, clothing, housing and what not comes first. Whatever I have left is what I can spend on games. That doesn't magically increase just because the big companies suddenly want more of my money.

Battlefield 3 World War I edition.
Everybody gets to camp in the trenches the entire game. Machinegunners will own everybody that dare take a look when the artillery is reloading, tanks will break down all the time and pilots get all the credit and chicks... lots of chicks.

Nah, give me old norse for a game like Skyrim. That would be a much better overall fit. Not saying that I don't like Japanese... it does sound powerful... I'm just saying it feels out of place in Skyrim and old norse can sound just as powerful when done right.
Marriage in Skyrim seems like a poorly implemented afterthought. It really doesn't add much and doesn't feel like marriage from a roleplay perspective. To make matters even worse, some race/gender combinations have no logical options when it comes to getting married.

Singleplayer games with a fixed storyline that you can't deviate from and no notable side quests tend to bore me. Sandbox or a game that isn't based on a storyline like the Civilization series is the way to go for me. I can easily spend hundreds of hours on a good sandboxy game like X3, Minecraft or Skyrim.

Meh... my single GTX460 @ 820MHz is holding up pretty well tbh. When the GTX660 is out, I'll take a good look and see if it's time to upgrade.
It may be delayed an awful lot, but it can't be considered PC exclusive when it was originally planned to be released this year and they're as far as I know still planning to release it on the 360.
Of course, that also means Minecraft is off the list unless the 360 version being worked on is so vastly different from the PC version that it's technically no the same game.
I have the Cosmos S case. It's a nice looking and fairly roomy case with good air-flow, but not overly portable despite the handles. It was great when I got it, but I wouldn't really recommend it today now that there are more up to date alternatives on the market in the same price range with more features.
