Wasn't there an article the other day about the exact same thing?
Starcraft 2 is the only game on the list that I can play. But that's okay, because that's all what I want and need :)
I have been using nVidia cards since the original GeForce. Never had an ATI card. Ever. You could say that makes me a fanboy. But this... the GTX465... from what I can gather from the article, is just complete overpriced trash compared to what ATI is offering.
I can't help but get the feeling that the GTX465 is just a desperate attempt by nVidia to recoup some money on defective GPUs that didn't quite meet the standards to become GTX470/480.

I'm aware that the focus is slightly different. That's perfectly fine with me. I actually see that as a plus since it just might help keep things interesting and I love games where you can personalize your units.
I also managed to grab Majesty 2 on sale on Steam the other day (although barely been able to play due to a busy schedule) and it's like the polar opposite. All base building and no direct unit control from what I can see so far. So between the two of the...
Shogun is the sequel I want the most, so this is good news for me if this is indeed true.
I sorta missed out on it back then for numerous various reasons and now I'm currently in a bit of a gaming slump. This will surely make life more interesting while waiting for Starcraft 2 et al.
Nice to see a list that doesn't consist of 5 shooters or some one-sided crap like that.
But a list of only 5 games is pretty much destined to fail since gamers are individuals with their own preferences and if you happen to be a hardcore shooter guy, a game like Civ 5 is most likely going to suck for you, while being the best thing since sliced bread for somebody else.
It also fails a bit since you need to own at the very least a PC -and- an X360 to have ...
I haven't done any LAN gaming for 10 years or so. Not an issue to me at all. But I feel for the people who really enjoy playing over LAN or has to because of technical limitations.
It seems a bit silly not to have some sort of LAN feature even if it means having to accept some sort of DRM solution (as long as it's resonable). The lack of it will only piss off the people who were looking forward to this and encourage the crackers to make some sort of emulator or bypass...
They're right that DRM is a losing battle.
But...
It's not Battle.net that makes me want to buy the game. It's the fact that I'm pretty darn sure that I'll be enjoying it for enough hours to make it worth my money. All the other stuff is just an added bonus. If the game is a turd, they can polish it as much as they want with extra services and what not... I still won't buy it because it's... well a turd.
As for the...
Of course you were joking... and my reply was a joke as well :)
It's legal in some places and illegal in others. In some circumastances, it's even punishable by death.
But fear not, because by definition, bestiality is the act of sexual relations between a human and an animal. A worgen is not an animal. It's a human who transforms into a sentient wolf-hybrid with an attitude.
Besides, I have not heard of any such laws being present in the world of Azeroth, nor do I think the people of Azeroth care much about ...
At this rate, PC gamers will soon be targets of terrorist attacks from environmentalist groups.
I can think of a billion ways to hide data on a laptop in such a way that they would never find it unless they're willing to spend countless man-hours combing through each and every hidden encrypted byte... and I'm by no means an expert. Of course, going through all that trouble isn't even necessary since there's this thing called the Internet, in case they haven't heard about it.
All this will do is slow down things and annoy law abiding citizens/tourists...
I'd date her... no doubt about that.
Now, is it just me or do the images with her wearing a dress seem sorta funny? The line "But Grandmother! What big teeth you have" keeps popping up in my head :)
I find it slightly amusing that the game is barely out, yet there is already a horde of zaelots lining up to proclaim it the best sandbox ever, GOTY and what not. Sliced bread is now obsolete it seems!
To those people I can only say - How about... like... playing it for a bit before making up your mind? Say... a hundred hours or so? That's what I happily got out of Oblivion before I even started modding it to hell and back, so surely the best sandbox game ever should give...
Nah...
Unless he spends most of his time thinking about, talking about or just plain old worshipping God to the detriment of his own life, I wouldn't call it trading one addiction for another. I'd rather say that he traded an addiction for a delusion. In reality, all you need to believe in is your own capability to overcome the addiction. No "divine intervention" is needed if you get my drift.
A shame really. I would have bought RDR for PC without any hesitation since it sounds like an awesome game. But running out and buying a console just to play it? Not gonna happen. If they (Rockstar) don't want my money, it's their loss. I'll just take it elsewhere. I can find plenty of other things to spend it on.
Underwater...
That's going to be tough to do right. A lot of the animations just look wonky underwater, not to mention the physics... I mean... ever tried playing a mage and throwing a fireball underwater? Just doesn't feel right.
Nothing there on that list which captures my attention -except- for Red Dead Redemption. That one I would buy without even considering my budget. Alas, they must not want my money since it's not a PC release. While I can easily justify buying the game, I can't justify buying a console when 99.9% of the console exclusive games don't even appeal to me.
Quote "Add in support for up to 56,000 units in a single battle, and it's clear to see just how ambitious Shogun 2 really is. "
I hope they mean -people- rather than units... although... from what I can see on wikipedia, 56000 men running around won't be enough to do a 1:1 simulation of some of the battles that took place during that period. That's just going to be sick O.o
