It's broken capitalism. That's why you have regulators to regulate capitalism and control this kind if behaviour.
Over half the team most of them senior leadership have reportedly left.
It's their api's and operating system it has more overhead than the OS and api's on PlayStation part of the legacy of being so interconnected with Windows/pc.
Stellar blade was a cancelled until.sonnycame along and supported the dev.... as I understand it.
Series s is crap? Lol
MM wasn't incharge of or a major contributer to one of sonys top ips. If Neil druckman left naughty dog that woukd be big news yeah....
@tapeqejo I admit I'm surprised the abk deal is probably going to be allowed but fir totally different reasons. I don't recall anyone ever saying initially they expected it to be blocked based upon streaming market but rather the fact its one of the largest publishers and Microsoft is basically trying to buy success in the industry which isn't good in any industry.
I mean its hardly a graphically demanding game its a top down game for starters. It has a nice level of detail but this really isn't a win the way its reported- its like the basics you should expect from a title like this....
Given regulators concerns over the cloud industry already - I cannot see any way in hell thry would allow Microsoft to acquire Netflix.
3.6 billion is just about breaking even and actually records show they made 2.6 billion last year. Once you factor in spending on wages from their over 20 studios, development costs, paying devs for games to be on game pass and paying them even more to be there day maintaining the server farms etc.
Octopath traveler 2 didn't sell well on PlayStation? I wonder why? Probably because the first didn't release on PlayStation so most gamers played that elsewhere and then played the sequel in the same place (switch I'd bet).
This would require Microsoft to actually invest in innovation and creating something new rather than just buying up what's already been created and made popular through multiplatform releases. So they'll never do it.
And you avoid getting into trouble by ensuring you make money when you have theboppertunity and put it away for a rainy day.
Honestly thr medium backpack and the unnecessary 4th slot aren't an issue although I don't like the potential for this to spread further and become things that impact gameplay more....
Sony are fighting for the free revenue they get from the games sales...
See if I were bodies like the cma this kind of shit would piss me off and make me more inclined to block things.
As a grown arse man with a wife and kids I'd hope you had a brain to use and might recognise that if no one pays for the game properly how is it funded? Microsoft isn't a fucking charity. Either they intend to get people dependent then Jack up prices OR its not going to be profitable and they will have largely indie games releasing, some older games and the occasional larger title. The industry as a whole will shrink with fewer jobs and fewer AAA games, more GAAS titles and more basic...
They wouldn't have as buying them woukd defeat the object of their complaints. Sony don't have to soend any money in cod development but it releases on their console they give activision a different cut to other titles in return for the marketing rights and some exclusive content. It sells consoles and sells loads of copies each year which makes them billions all with almost no investment required. That revenue allows them to take risks with creation if new ip and continuing existing ...
Oh they aren't done and they won't wait 5 years. Take 2 don't want to sell apparently so maybe they are safe for now although the prize of gta and rdr might be too much for MS to ignore. Ea and ubisoft would be my bet and reportedly ears shareholders are more than happy to make a quick buck and sellout.
It's called inflation people if the currency is worth less prices go up.
