Oh man, I think Logic just won.
You may have missed some of the recent news about the Wii U and Unity. It looks like Nintendo is strongly supporting 3rd parties, at least on their eShop.
Make it so, Nintendo.
I don't know about that Buggs Bunny analogy. It's not like he called himself Gevin Gutler. Imagine if whoever owns the rights to the Bill and Ted characters sued Keanu Reeves for acting kind of spacey and confused in another movie.
@hkgamer
That's for people being sponsored by companies, not for people advertising. But, of course like you said, it depends on what's in the contract.
I believe we said the same thing with different words. PopRocks359 said the website should have cited their source and as of right now he/she has seven disagrees. I was asking why someone would click disagree. Sorry if my wording was confusing.
Ramon sent me a screen shot of the email. Seems legit.
Well what the heck does full 1080p mean if it doesn't mean full 1080p? I wouldn't have cared except Activision already claimed it was. Why lie? Or at least why word their statement in a way that would be misunderstood?
Kids drop everything. It's crazy that holding something is a skill that takes 10+ years to master.
I doubt this is a sign of things to come and more that the Wii U is new. Who knows when they got their dev kits and how long it takes to get used to developing for that GamePad.
I don't know why people would disagree with someone for saying news sites should cite their sources. I'm like 89% expecting this article to be accurate, but I'm going to wait for other news sites to confirm.
I wonder what would be better for Nintendo: 2 years of being the only next gen system on the market or Sony and Microsoft releasing in less than a year? The later the other systems launch, the more powerful they'll be compared to the Wii U but also it gives Nintendo more time to get established.
Oh man, too good to be true. I never would have thought they would have thrown Wander in there. How cool is that?
@TheGamingArt
I'm trying to think of a way to reply to you that isn't just "read the article". Maybe I can summarize.
Peach only has one game to herself and in it she fights enemies with her stereotypical feminine out of control emotions.
Zelda in OoT was Sheik and that was cool but of course she was still captured and needed to be rescued in the end. A better argument could be made for Tetra in Windwaker where she led a ga...
Geez Matt, I wish you could lighten up a bit about defending your articles. I almost always like what you write but your replies to criticisms tend to be so serious they make the comments feel tense.
I honestly think you make great points, especially here where you notice that Samus wasn't a female character until her wearing a bikini is the reward for completing the game. I would have replied to Snookies12 if you hadn't.
LOL. Ah, I didn't realize they were the publishers... Well, I knew I was missing something. Thanks for the heads up :)
The game looks really cool but it hasn't been announced in my region yet so I haven't been following it too closely.
The Wii U is a next generation console. You can't change what words mean by believing really hard. Or maybe I'm wrong.
OK! Everyone that hates Nintendo! All together!
"I do believe Wii U isn't next gen! I do believe Wii U isn't next gen! I do believe Wii U isn't next gen!"
Hooray! We did it! And all it took was to believe as innocently as a child.
Wow, looks good. I'm always a sucker for 2D platformers.
Sounds very positive! Nintendo has money to burn and flying out indie developers to different shows is a great way to use it. It sounds like Nintendo is supporting the indies this time around. It's almost unbelievable considering their track record. If it turns out to be true, well, that's really exciting.
Maybe I'm missing something. Lego games are usually couch multiplayer, right? Even the Wii version of Lord of the Rings will have it. If Undercover has couch multiplayer on PS3 and 360 then the Wii U will too, and would hopefully do the nifty one person plays on the GamePad thing ala CoD.
If we're talking about online multiplayer, I'd be surprised if the Wii U didn't have it if the Ps3 and 360 do, but that's definitely more up in the air.
Activision certainly is at least guilty of a lie of omission. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume most gamers have a 1080p TV so of course we would take "full HD" to mean that it uses the full HD resolution of our TVs. Even if it was an honest slip of the tongue they sure have been slow to correct everyone's false assumptions.
