GTX 750 Ti is suitable for OEM PCs.

I hope Microsoft stays away from PC gaming. DirectX/Windows jail is just plain bad.

Valve is driving gaming business in open and cross-platform direction. Gamer / customers are able to make a decision which device they wants to use; Mac, Windows or Linux. OpenGL is the key.

So I personally hope Microsoft concentrates 110% to XBox One and stays in business.

Next-gen console experience (1080@30-60) and costs only $150. I ordered my MSI 750 Ti yesterday. Can't wait to give it a try.

Intel Broadwell can do very well if they reach 80% performance increment as has said. Even current-gen Intel with Iris Pro 5200 can perform quite nicely: http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Tiny PCs like Intel NUC and HTPCs looks more and more tempting for livin...

You seem to like console action games but I would recommend you to try some deep and complex strategy, 4X, RTS, simulation and deep RPGs games PC has and consoles are lacking.

Just to list few:
Crusader Kings 2
Europa Universalis 4
Football Manager 2014
UnReal World RPG
Galactic Civilizations

"The Witcher 3" on my gaming PC 1920x1200@60. I hope my secondary toy computer (upgrading to GTX 750 Ti - 150€) could be able to run it 1080p@30.

Can't wait.

GTX 750 Ti looks very tempting. 1080p@30-60 experience with 150€ and OC version with 170€.

Well, direct console port so no big surprise :)

If one wants to see what PC is capable of the game has to be designed for it, but naturally games are designed and made consoles capabilities in mind. In PC gamer perspective consoles are slowing the pace of development down.

PCs are getting smaller and smaller, like Intel NUC. Broadwell based Intel NUC could already give a console experience 1080p@60, but of course gaming PCs can do much better.

Server: i5-661, 16G RAM, Radeon HD5850, SteamOS
Client: Samsung NF310, Fedora 20

My personal experience is very good so far. Even *without* HW decoding I'm able to get near "console experience" with eee-PC (NF310). Additionally there's still bug in AMD driver which makes it run ~50% slower on SteamOS.

It's still at beta stage so this is very impressive state already. If Valve is going to support ARM it will bring this tech to pho...

I guess everyone still remembers for example "Frontier: Elite II"

Game size: 720 KB
World size: Millions of planets

"No Man’s Sky" doesn't sound too bad. Interesting to see how the gameplay is going to be.

@MRMagoo123: "For a start it's not an action shooter lol"

So it's action RPG? I watched videos about this and earlier inFAMOUS games and all I see is jumping and shooting.

Is it possible to interact with other people and do some side quests that requires some other skills than shooting/jumping?

Well, I have to keep eye on this game. It seems to get people very excited. I still have to find out if this a game for me ...

"Well what do you expect from an open world game."

On my PC I expect 1920x1200@60 since those are my monitors native specs and that's how I am playing all my games at the moment.

If I would be a next-gen console owner 1080p@60 would be the minimum I expect to get. Hopefully consoles will get there and most likely they will.

Just for interest, what makes it amazing?

I don't play these kind of games at all and it would be interesting to hear why is this game (series) different compared to other action shooting games?

Linux users gets much more out of Ouya than a regular user. Still, having an updated version is must - let's say NVidia Tegra K1. Unfortunately would be still way too expensive.

Having ports from some classic games could help as well. "King Of Dragon Pass" for example. There's pretty much no better RPG for consoles at the moment.

What I'm really look forward is Valve In-Home Streaming support. Steam library on Ouya would be quite nice. 1...

@-Foxtrot: "Funny how it's only been shown off for like two genres, FPS and RTS games."

Civ5 belong neither of those genres. Just for interest, have you tried Steam Controller?

The controller is not ready yet and as it has open design we will most likely to see different version of it.

To me it looks like a good addition to keyboard+mouse and current gamepads. Intel NUC+Steam Contoller+gamepad in living room and keyboard+mouse i...

Which one? XBox 360, XBox One, Steam Controller, PS2, PS3, PS4, N64, keyboard+mouse, ... or some new one you could write a driver yourself or ask community to make one. Yep, choices :)

Maybe. Just wondering how powerful are PS4 and XBox One CPU compared to i7?

Crusader Kings 2 is the best RPG I have played. I don't see it's going to be playable with a analog stick controller. Steam Controller could work very well. Some goes with UE.

In the other hand action games like Magicka and Mount and Blade could work ...

@WeAreLegion: "Mindless? What the heck?"

Well it's action shooter, not a deep RPG or strategy game. How would you describe that game?

If you like mindless action shooter/jumper it looks very good game for you.
