They haven't gone into blu-ray because it makes no strategic sense. Would you really have them start putting games on blu-ray and fragment the market? Or release another add-on drive that never sells? Or release another SKU and confuse more users?

I find it funny when a Killzone acolyte thinks they can deny someone free will. Guess what... I hated on Killzone 2's demo, still bought the game, and now I'm having FUN with it, mostly in online MP. Decision to mix the gametypes into one session is BRILLIANT.

It would be horribly hypocritical for me to criticize other games of being flush with quick time events and not call out Ninja Blade for doing the same thing. Somehow it works, but it still takes something away from the game.
You know, this game is good, but for those who, no matter what it sells, think it should be selling more, be happy with these sales. Ultimately, the game will get the credit it deserves.
I think this is why there has been a push for co-op play. Most games are more fun when you win, and for for those who meet the standards, it is fun. But for the contingent that "sucks", they are excluded from the fun, either by design or social factors.

It's funny that the PC crowd is ranting and raving that PC is better, while console companies just sit back and let the experiences speak for themselves. This is one of those times when you consider what "better" and "best" are.

If GWAVE is talking about AAA titles, yes, PSN blows Xbox Live out of the water. Those are the kinds of things Sony needs to do to bring PSN up to XBL's level. But they need to do more if they want to compete seriously. Free is not enough to ultimately tip the scales.
The real winner features in the online arms race are the ones that end with "on every game". That means Trophies "on every game", demos on release date "on every (downloadable) game"...

@Chase: Shadowrun wasn't a flop for any design reason. People just had a hard time swallowing the limited amount of content. The fact that FASA got closed down was the final nail in that coffin.

I prefer to see it like it is: you get the game, and if you want more... AND the price is right, you get the DLC. No one is forcing you to do anything.
But I'll agree the price of the disk is a bit high. On the other hand, one of the game I enjoyed the most this generation was "budget" priced: Culdcept Saga.

I believe the numbers and think it really reflects the fact that PSN is free and nothing else. It doesn't mean one is better than the other. Honestly, I don't know why we are so obsessed with deciding which one is better. We should just play the damn game and shut up about it.
