OMG... Sony must have paid off Square to shut out Microsoft. FOUL! EVIL MONEY! UNFAIR! ANTI-COMPETITIVE!

What, I'm just saying the same things you would say...

Do try VP. My wife, an Xbox hater and long time pokemon addict, loved it. It's a very unique game.

I've seen plenty of Arcade games that play like a big title. I've learned not to count out XBLA. I played Catan more than some of my disks.

Lonewolf presents that most flawed of fanboy arguments: prophetic declaration of success.

If it hasn't happened yet and you aren't in on the planning, you don't know, and shouldn't pretend to know. For all you know, this could be a giant enemy crabs year...

Crackdown 2 is the single biggest blip on my radar right now. I can't wait.

Why are people convinced the 360 is near the end of the life cycle? That sounds like wishful thinking from PS3 fanboys. I think we still have great things coming. As long as the new two new Halo games are good, then keep it coming.

You know what's funny? When Sony says they can do something, no one seems to question it. But when Microsoft says they can do something, they question them up and down the thread.

Let's see if they can actually deliver before you judge them.

I'm not sure they have laid down one line of code yet, if you don't count the engine. This is different from the MGS4 rumor. And you know what, I don't care which system it's on. I have both.

And stuck up Kojima can go screw himself.

Who cares if it's on PC... it's less d*cky to say "Exclusive" rather than say "it's PS3 excludED".

LOL, everyone knows GT5 is destined to be the definitive driving game.

...because some holy PR man made a prophesy, and that makes it true.

So, deathrow wants to punish companies for being successful. That's a GREAAAAAAAAT economic theory. I'm sure people will be clamoring to make the next big thing after that.

If they have 90% of the marketshare, that's because people saw fit to buy their products. So, maybe we should be punishing the customers that made them so successful. How dare they...

It's stupid because these other companies come in and whine and complain their way into a market instead of doing the hard work. Microsoft has every right to include their own browser with their own operating system. I doesn't matter care how buggy it is... that's called a free market.

See, here is the problem with critics. People predisposed to hate on a game, aside from not having the presence of mind to objectively look at a game in the first place, will claim a game with good ratings is over rated. Likewise, a game the critic was looking forward to and would tend to like, regardless, will ignore the low scores and promote it as a under-rated masterpiece.

No, Metacritic isn't an accurate measure of quality. I have plenty of low scoring games I love and hi...

It's going to take more than one good year for Sony to get out of their slump. We'll suffer the fanboys this year and then get on with our lives. Now, if Sony can put together two or three good years... we'll talk.

And no, FFXIII does not in itself make a good year.

Proof positive that Rare has a horrible case of the hit-and-misses.

I care only in as much as they can make a compelling online game. Criticism of a lack of multiplayer doesn't mean ANY multiplayer will increase your scores. It has to make me pine for it when I'm not playing it, and I can't see that coming out of a dev so solely focused on the single player.

Ouch. With one foul swipe, the game has dropped from a "Must Buy Day One" to a second string Gamefly.

Perfect Dark Zero was such a big disappointment in gamers minds because it not only diminished Perfect Dark and by proxy Goldeneye: 007, but because it aged horribly over time. Go back and play it. It's awkward and unpolished (laminated graphics not withstanding...) as a result of being shuffled from the Gamecube to the Xbox to the 360.

Jinx, I tend to agree that KI was subpar gameplay with pretty pre-rendered sprites, but there is nothing keeping Rare from improving on that. That's like saying Killzone 1 kinda sucked, so Killzone 2 automatically sucks. Each game should be evaluated on their own merits.

Agreed with Slim Daddy.

Rest in peace, my memories of Perfect Dark...
