If you wanna have fun legal-cheating, play Crackdown and turn on Keys to the City mode. It's a f-king power trip. I like game mechanics that make you so powerful, you think "I Can't Believe It's Not Cheating".

Another "fear in the hearts of fanboys" story. Glad to see the 360 and PS3 fanboys can band together to collectively call bullshit.... as we should since we are on the same side of the REAL war: hardcore vs casual, precision vs. waggle, AAA vs. shovelware.

Wii FPS will never be viable unless you stop using the cursor to turn and look. It's sickening the way you have to gimp the enemies to deal with pie-in-the-sky design decisions.

But then, the self-righ...

Call me crazy, but THIS is the normal failure rate. Microsoft would kill to have these kinds of numbers.

I'm an avid 360 supporter because I just like the games and XBL. But the hardware reliability blows chunks. It's a shame really... Nintendo might have some real challenge from the 360 if it weren't for the sh!tty quality.

I still see PS3 and the distant leader in durability. It's hard...nay, impossible to deny that.

What gets me steamed is people who naturally assume Microsoft is incapable of being original... that they are doomed by destiny to fail at everything... that it's written in the stars. What a knuckle-headed approach to reality. You fail at rational thought if that's your approach to everything.

I don't quite think you understand everything this peripheral is doing, and if you aren't technically minded, you shouldn't pretend to know. It's mapping the subject in 3d space, rather...

Agreed. Lost Planet was an underrated game. Glad to see it get a sequel and glad to see everyone get to play it. What's not to love about a game with grappling hooks?

I love watching N4G. I get to see just how juvenile and petty you fanboys get. Why don't you walk up to me, bust a move, and tell me I just got served. You'd at least look less foolish.

He could find a gamer girl. They do exist... and I know one who has a gaming tattoo of her own.

A lot of people got inked over Halo. I suppose it's just as valid... it's just as good a game.

In general, stop policing the world. People will do what ever they want with their bodies, and that's their decision. Why hate someone who does something you wouldn't do. Does it hurt you somehow?

I hope Halo-hate isn't the only thing fueling the decision to get inked.

On the other hand, Killzone is getting some ink-love. Good for them.

They are both just as guilty of trading barbs, and you know it.

GWAVE, you are a textbook case of cognitive bias. Not that it's a bad thing... everyone does it... but I would have more faith in humanity if people were at least more aware of it.

You know, I'm starting to agree that things look weak on the Xbox front. Of course, I'm reserving judgement for after E3, and I'm still plenty pumped for ODST, but I still think Xbox's low price access to the 3rd party is the most compelling aspect of the console... aside from the new features like Primetime. I'm plenty pumped, but I'll certainly admit things look weak pre-show.

That's not to say MS and the gamers who support them can't still have a great year. How about the 3...

Just in a evaluation environment. I really can't tell a major difference. And I bet most people can't either.

I'm more worried about recouping the 4 billion sunk in the first-generation Xbox, let alone making a profit on the 360.

You know, I could go on a public speaking circuit to explain how flawed the "aligned launch" argument is.

One time is NOT comparable to another time. Are we going to launch a game on June 1, 2009 for 360 and hold it back from PS3 until June 1, 2010 just to validate comparison statistics? No. Publishers make their decisions about what consoles to back and release on right now. They aren't concerned with fanboy arguments about how if you jiggle the numbers just right,...

Yes, but do we have any precedent to see a company come back and re-dominate in their 5th generation? Just like any marketplace, we are exposing more variables to the equation. I'm more inclined to say, thanks to Nintendo, all bets are off on GWAVE's original theory.

Though, the theory still holds quite a bit of water. If it Nintendo disappeared after the Gamecube or if Microsoft had put out more reliable hardware, you might see Microsoft dominating the generation... not their...

Honestly, I don't want to be one of the army of Killzone 2 supporters... but it really is an elegant, well-crafted MULTIPLAYER experience. It's chock full of varied action and the chance to advance and unlock cool abilities.

Screw the single player, screw the story, and screw the graphics. The game stands on it's own with great gameplay.

What's "better"? You know, popularity isn't just special edition soda and branded slurpies. Maybe people are playing it because they love playing online in a less-than-tactical, fun, floaty, plasma-shooting, spammy, vehicley nirvana of screaming noobs and homophobes.

The keyword there is "fun". All else, especially what someone else thinks they "should" be playing, is ancillary.

And why do we feel the need to buy a second or third PS3? Isn't one enough or is this a loyalty issue?
