Gimme a break. It's painfully obvious you're sour that it took this long to come to PSN.
Get over it.
It's a great game regardless and you'll be glad you played it. Or sorry if you don't.
You might think that was a good idea...
I did. He said "Steam will be a part of that."
You're jumping to conclusions if you think that's a definitive confirmation of Steam on PS3.
By the way, what exactly do you think "Steam on PS3" entails?
@FarEastOrient:
What are you talking about? No one confirmed Steam for PS3.... it's involved with a single game so far. That's it for now.
You mean people in the video game industry are going to be afraid of selling a piece of hardware at a loss?
Actually, that makes a lot of sense simply because it's not a whole system but an add-on.
No... it's because the PSP Go was WAY overpriced and the buttons had lousy tactile response. Don't fool yourself into thinking otherwise.
360 has 1080p instant (within ten seconds) streaming. This is a fact.
360 has a significant catalog of full games available to download. This is a fact.
360 has Last.fm, Netflix, and soon to have ESPN... built-in to the dashboard. This is a fact.
360 still offers free demos for all its XBLA games. This is a fact.
360 has the Indie Games program. This is a fact.
360 is the digital distro leader right now ...
Microsoft's benchmark to compete with Move, in my opinion is $130. If Microsoft can beat two Move controllers ($100) and a sub-controller ($30), they will have a better chance.
Wait a second... no one here, including the executive quoted, seems to know how games are made and the ignorance is staggering.
In any degree that there is a difference between a 2D version and a 3D version, the amount of code needed to make the jump is minimal as it pertains to an already cavernous disk... and, where it really matters, there is no need to duplicate the art assets over again.
Blu-ray as a means to enable 3D is an exec spouting off about stuff...
It's the future? This is incorrect.
3D is the past. Several times over.
I think Sony earned an A... and Nintendo merely landed a B+.
Microsoft was... an F.
I'm disappointed with MS on this one. The new model would be just plain dandy... if it weren't for the conspicuous lack of a slot loader. Even the Wii can manage that... and theirs is a specialized version that loads gamecube disks too...
That is incorrect.
The 360 has a 1 year warranty for stuff like the video card or the DVD drive going bad.
The 3 year warranty applies to RROD and E74.
CORRECTION: I had said "(and has always had)". The 1 year warranty was added shortly after RRODs started showing up. Previously, it was a 3 month warranty, I believe...
@Mista T: That is where the presser took a terminal dive. Microsoft should probably learn from this and stop putting 6 year olds on the stage during these things.
And to top it all off, this girl is the cause of her parents' divorce.
GWAVE... go away.
For every negative comment I've heard from real game journalists, I've heard five more praising it. Stop putting words in people's mouths. I've seen you like to do that.
And you see a singular tech product in a non-core industry as a sign that Microsoft is circling the drain?
And I'm not the least bit surprised that you buy into what this video supposes. You made your mind up to believe it one way or t...
Uh huh...
Start swinging a Wii Motion Plus a few times in Sports Resort's sword game and tell me how accurate it is.
Not. Very.
I've said it before... Sony is keeping the promise of 1:1 tracking that Nintendo simply could not.
I feel that the ridicule were totally justified.
* What the hell does Cirque du Soleil have to do with gaming?
* How the hell am I, a core gamer, supposed to relate to a Mii?
* Two hot girlfiends = everyone wins.
* Olivia Munn in a Lara Croft outfit.
@Staircase: They usually do this, as a magnanimous gesture.
Kevin Butler is brilliant as a marketing icon. He lets Sony-proper be humble while this fake exec parodies the arrogant Sony of the past.
It's actually quite genius when you start deconstructing him.
I'm not sure what Hyrb was thinking, inviting a fictional exec to the Xbox booth.
@Disagrees: But yeah, Hyrb was being a classy professional guy and perhaps KB (aka, Jerry Lambert) was a bit too in character.
That might be the normal hunter. The enemy sizes have been pumped up. Even the Elites are significantly bigger than Spartans now.
Yes, this blows Forza 3 out of the water. Kart racing in GT5 might get me to take notice, seeing as how I like a more arcadey presenation as opposed to a "realistic" sado-masochistic buzz-kill simulation.
