I would actually prefer that the game plays good rather than looks good. With such a classic and deep story, the gameplay potential is there, as well as the chance for great visuals.
Don't worry, mate, when you hit puberty and start using your brain, you'll be able to understand classic literature a bit more.
For one, it has the extra content added to the other GC ports. Secondly, the graphics and gameplay have improved from the GC version. Thirdly, for $30, you're getting a quality game. And one that I have never played, to be honest. So I, for one, am looking forward to buying this, and am pleased that the game is coming to the Wii.
I'm quite certain that there are plenty others who feel the same way.
Sabbath420, please stop trying to make sense. You're just hurting people who actually enjoy using their brains.
Maybe those who disagreed with you did so simply to see you freak out like that. Hell, I'd say it was worth it.
You shouldn't be so offended, because you make great points. Stand by them.
I happen to think that Sony will not be able to pull of what you've stated, however. You're not thinking of the competition, and what is happening right now. For every day that Sony has consumers wait for the things that make the console good, Nintendo and Microsoft are improvi...
Listen, I've no doubt that a remake with simply better graphics would sell well. It would probably bust the charts, yeah.
That's what bothers me, though. Here's a game that people can actually play right now, but they're so preoccupied with graphics that "playing FF VII as it is hurts my eyes". I've actually heard people say that, and it sickens me.
Remaking FF III? Good idea. Improved graphics, improved gameplay, added creatures and storyline, plus it ...
Please, if there is a God in this world, let there not be a "remake" of Final Fantasy VII. It's not that old. It's a solid story. It's great graphics. It's great gameplay. What in the slagging world can Square do that would make the game better? Absolutely nothing. It can play on your PS1, PS2, and PS3 already.
Such a remake would be a pointless waste of time.
Didn't GTA II feature a 1960's London expansion? If so, I think that would set a precedent for the series' setting to be non-American.
Red, I think it's a bit different than that, mate. One man's opinion does not equal truth.
For example, the MS staff member believes that lack of DVD playback on the Wii is a negative smear on the console. I, personally, don't see that as anything more than someone trying to make something trivial into something vital. You'd be hard pressed to find a home in the countries the Wii is selling in that does not have a DVD player in one shape or form, be it stand alone, PS2, whateve...
Seeing as how I am not a genius, can you explain to me how you figured that out? In fact, I am such not a genius that I can't even figure out the many varied interpretations of the term "hardcore", so maybe you could help me out with that one as well.
Misogynist much, mate?
Personally, they're both acting like children. Pathetic.
So it's just a standard multiplayer game. That's a hell of a lot better than those MMORPGs we've got running around.
This doesn't read like a port. I gathered that it was a sequel to a fighting game which was once strong on the GameCube. So no port, don't worry.
Unfortunately, I own a Wii, and bought this game for it yesterday.
I have since returned the game, and since I'm good with the manager, got a full refund, which allowed me to purchase "From Russia With Love", "Silent Hill 3", "Legend of Kai", and "Silent Hill 3". I think I got the better end of the bargain.
This game was pathetic, no matter what system it is played on. The movie was just as bad. >.>
So then where's the other 10% for Europe?
A good attempt at a poor analogy.
So consoles = transportation.
Thus PS3 = Airplanes, and Wii = Cars?
What's the connection? Furthermore, what's the point? How often do you use an airplane as opposed to a car?
Cocaine's a hell of a drug, mate.
Learn to type in coherent sentences, or at least learn where the period key is on your keyboard. People might take you more seriously if you do.
How about Donkey Kong in his many appearances, as well as the ever influential Pokemon, and the various Warioware incarnations, and the many Star Fox games, and finally the more recent Animal Crossing games?
That's a quick five off the top of my head. If you want more, I'm game.
Wow. o_o
I was left with a bad taste in my mouth after trying Gothic 3... Some "Oblivion killer" that turned out to be. At least they're still trying.
