I think you might be on to something here.
I don't know why such an announcement would raise anyone's ire - this is a game that many people have requested to be put on the Virtual Console since it's inception! Good call, Nintendo. Good call.
I have no clue what you just tried to say here. Why not just say whether or not you agree with points the article brought up, and back it up with more facts or opinions?
Technically it wasn't just him, but a bunch of his friends that helped him out. *shrugs* Seems kinda pointless to me, but to each their own, I suppose.
*goes back to levelling up before he reaches the Black Citadel in Dragon Quest 8*
I've overseen a bunch of talk and hype on the official Oblivion forums, and I'm pretty sure that the only difference between the PS3 version of Oblivion compared to the X-Box360 and PC versions, is that some background shaders got updated for PS3, and it will come with the Knights of the Nine official plugin.
I can't imagine how Bethesda could put content into the PS3 version that could ONLY be obtained in the PS3 game. That would just... be wrong. A lot of wrong. Giving PS3 pe...
Oblivion for the PC is the best. So there. :p
Maybe I just don't put too much into graphics any more, but I honestly cannot tell a difference. It's like when I saw a video that compared the graphical differences between the PS3, XBOX 360 and Wii "Call of Duty 3" games. The only difference I could see was when they showed the Wii, and even then I thought that looked great.
Though to be fair, I own Oblivion for the PC, and have been happily playing it that way. ^_^ I mean, the graphics are great for the game all ac...
You do realize that this is just a port of Oblivion, don't you? Perhaps there's a few graphical improvements, and the inclusion of Knights of the Nine questline, but that's about it.
I'm sorry that you didn't like the game, though - it's been a pretty big hit all over, and, in my opinion, for good reasons.
Is there any possible way to tell if these screenshots are from the PS3, XBox 360 or PC? 'Cause... I dunno. It all looks the same to me.
Or some of us just could be slacking off at work and enjoying the train wreck that is PS3 fanboyism. :p
So is the game really so bad that they need to promote it with Halo 3 swag?
Not that I really understand the need for the childish comments (I guess I haven't been on this site long enough?), but I can assure you that I hold no loyalty to Microsoft. I'm simply stating that SONY, as a company, has hit a rut, or so it seems to me. Now I'm certainly no expert on electronics, and can safely assume that I know just as much about what has been going with SONY's technological advances as the next regular Joe Gamer, and from what I know about where SONY has been in the past,...
I think it does work fine with the cord as well, though I remember my beginning stages of Red Steel swordfighting saw me nearly pulling the cord right out of the Wiimote trying to pull off some of those sword katas.
As a company, SONY is really attempting to move forward, but they've got themselves stuck in a rut right now. Why they would be awarded this sort of recognition due to items that #1 posted, and more, is beyond me.
Honestly, I'm curious to know just what the demand for the PS3 is actually like over in Europe. I can only imagine that demand was hurt by the American/Japanese launches. Will we be seeing new games, or is the Europe launch just going to fizzle and fade away?
If only Nintendo had packaged this crucial technology with the Wii in the first place. Why that did not happen is beyond me.
Be happy. Or something.
It's an obvious parody, guys. Those screenshots are directly from Elebits, for one thing, not to mention everything else about the article, aside from the name of the "game". Nothing more to see here, move on.
For the win! What a fantastic game. Time to DL and play it for a few hours.
I think where MicroGamer is coming from is the fact that it is, for some people, morally wrong to establish a Wii-centric porno site. Certainly it's not illegal or anything like that, but it is in bad taste. The fact is that the Wii is being promoted and established as a family friendly entertainment device, and is now being converted by some into something that goes completely against that image.
I marked this one down as Lame by taking the good ol' Moral High Ground stance, in that a mod chip like this equals simple piracy, which I just consider to be bad form.
It works for some, but just not for me. Too much murky legal and ethical muck for me to wade through.
