Okay, I think I'm going to take another route here and just state that this person needs help... Like, this is not mentally safe and stable help. Aren't there hotlines for this kind of self-destructive behaviour?
Wow, man. Tell us how you really feel. Or maybe you're just ticked off 'cause your baby teeth are falling out.
I dunno, it just doesn't seem to be that important. I'd rather be able to see more of the screen rather than the barrel or muzzle of whatever weapon I'm using. I don't really remember a light gun game that showed the player's weapon on screen before, regardless.
Amen to that, man. Couldn't have said it better myself.
The thing is, when the exception becomes the norm, people get upset when the exception (consumers inside of the convention, instead of business insiders) gets taken away. It'll just take a few years for the norm to re-establish itself.
Well I've got three of those six, though obviously this is just one person's opinion of good games. The Wii has certainly gotten a lot of play from me, though my roommate seems more enamored with the Xbox 360. And the wife still loves her PS2. Looks like there's room for everyone to game!
Overlord is such a fun game! I was watching my roommate play it for a few hours last night, and it very fun, and funny. Not to mention the great voice acting and music selection. :p
I love playing with my Wii version of the Transformers game. I mean, granted I've only played it for a couple of hours, but it's very fun and cathartic to just go on rampages and investigate the entire map. Personally I think it's a great game, but hey, that's just me.
Ah ha, good! Serves the pirate right.
The person behind this little farce really needs some help.
Didn't your parents tell you "evil begets evil", or something along that same line? If you have an issue with that poster, either bring it up with him, ignore him, or something aside from letting your vile immaturity leak onto the boards.
Huh, I've never heard of that before. Thanks for filling me in. To each their own, I suppose.
Though I didn't disagree with you, I happen to be quite excited for Animal Crossing for the Wii. I see a lot of untapped potential for such a title, and it would almost certainly be a successfull game for the Wii.
Why?
Wow. Sometimes it's just really easy to tell why people have one bubble.
And it's sad, because at times, fleeting though they were, you made sense.
Wow, repressed much, Syko? If ever a comment deserved to be reported for offensiveness it would be yours.
The man is simply making an honest opinion and in no way deserved to be treated like that, regardless of if you agreed or not. Perhaps you enjoy looking like a rude fool on the Internet, but I seriously hope you don't act like that offline, or else you will be in for a rude awakening when reality hits you.
Now HERE's a downloading link I can enjoy!
Xi, I completely agree with you, however what you are detailing are Achievements. Achievements in and of themselves are great for many reasons, including the ones you mentioned.
What I was referencing, however, is the rooster crowing (I find it amusing that I cannot write down the alternate word for "rooster", which is what the term actually is) Gamerscore, and its seeming importance amongst "hardcore" gamers. The article here is detailing games in which one...
Let me see, my console wish list for improvements would be thus:
Wii - Please get rid of that horrid Friend's Code system
Xbox - Please improve the quality of the hardware so that it doesn't break as often, runs silenter, and doesn't use as much energy
PS3 - Please get your friggin head out of the hole in the ground and hire a PR firm that knows what they're doing! You've got a quality console, but no one cares if they don't know what it can do!
And the point to improving one's Gamerscore is what, exactly? I can aim further in online pissing contests?
You know, I think I could spend a good day just going through the comments section of the articles and encouraging taking away bubbles from the mindless and the rude.
Was there really any reason for you to say... or mangle... what you did?
There's a price to pay for everything, and it doesn't have to be monetary. While I know of plenty of people who could (in time) afford to spend enough money for such a setup, the social and psychological cost would be too high for any of them to even consider it.
