2K14 was great, truly.
2K's service and servers? Absolutely disgusting. Wanna play My Team? Yeah, you have to be online. Wanna be online? Yeah, our servers need to be working.
So..no My Team then, again.
Can't remember the last time I played 2K14 where the servers were working and I could actually access 90% of the game.
Can't wait for the laughs I'll have when this game's in-game graphics are revealed, and the console fanboys say Infamous looks better.
Such arrogance, the irony that console fans care more about graphics than PC players, evident by every single game thread leading to a debate about graphics between Xfail and PSfail.
Blame consoles for limiting what the devs could do with the AI.
Really want the mods to get hold of this and make it look less like a rubbish PS4 game, and like it did at E3, like they did with Dark Souls 2 using SweetFX, ENBs etc.
Honestly, I think consoles ruined it.
The visual downgrade, the poor PC port, the lack of enter-able buildings, the small-ish map.
The game has this feeling of being so much better but it was reigned back.
And the only reason that makes sense is that the consoles couldn't handle more.
Sod all you fanboys, I don't care, because of consoles not a single game coming soon is unique or visually impressive.
...
As much as I hate EA's approach in Origin, with their retarded pricing just being a flat out insult (much like the PSN's prices, what a joke, but dumb console peasants still use it for some god forsaken reason, and then have the audacity to say PC gaming is more expensive), I have to confess I've been genuinely impressed with Origin.
I have never had an issue with it. It doesn't cause problems, it runs just as well and fast as Steam. I get just as fast downl...
Strategy games don't work on consoles, evident by EVERY strategy game released on them, because the controllers are dumb.
As a result, they don't sell well enough to warrant making more of them.
Publishers will only authorize what sold well yesterday.
A PC EXPANSION, in Reaper of Souls, sold 2 million copies in 7 days.
Precious, boring Infamous SS sold 1 (or was it 2) million in 9 days.
Skyrim on PC sold faster than the console version, clocking over something like 7 million in total.
PC gaming isn't dead. We're just sick of consoles holding games back and resulting in the PC versions being rubbish ports, because the engine sucks due the console hardware being rubbish.
Of course it matters.
Just stop lying during game previews. Just say "this is running on PC and won't look this good on release due to consoles." (GIVE ME ONE SINGLE REASON OTHER THAN CONSOLES FOR WHY GAMES GET DOWNGRADED THESE DAYS).
At least we won't be killing each other in forums debating it afterward, and then wish the developers would die for lying when the game comes out or gets leaked.
Stealth if hacking fails. I actually really like that you can hack into an area and complete the objective basically from your car.
You can't always do it of course, but it's a cool option.
I actually think the mechanics for every situation, be it guns blazing or stealth or hacking etc are quite good.
The game is just fun and varied. Something GTA would know nothing about.
Xbox fans think it will make a difference. It won't.
It needs a DX12 enabled card, like every DX release ever on PC.
PREEEEEEEETY sure the Xbox's card is from 2010, so no, not DX12 ready.
Hell, it barely does DX11 for god sake...
I have to confess, I think The Order will be another Infamous.
Pretty, but that's it. It just looks too much like a generic 3rd person cover shooter.
Next-gen is really disappointing me so far.
Not a single original idea. Just slightly better visuals, still only 30 FPS, barely 1080p and nothing revolutionary or anything that screams "next gen".
It's like the devs are just lazy and putting all their effort ...
Think of all the PS4 reveals that will be running on this card.
Genuinely think it's better than GTA, as it's more fun.
Yeah the console versions are so much better, with their lower resolution and pathetic 30 FPS.
Change the PC settings to high and the issue goes away for many people.
So, again, PC wins.
Also, this is pathetic trolling for a console gamer.
Downgraded because of consoles.
Pretty much sums up the lack of next-gen anything so far.
And the current consoles aren't next-gen anyway. 720p. 990p. 30 FPS. Nothing new in games.
This isn't next-gen. It's 5+ years ago on PC.
They also confirmed at E3 that games were running on PS4s.
That turned out to be true...oh no wait.
Change all settings that can be set to "Ultra" down to "High".
I have SLI 770 2GBs, set everything to high, 4xTXAA, HBAO+ High, Vsync to 2 frames, refresh to 120hz, GPU Render Frames Ahead to 1, and that's it.
Game runs almost perfectly at around 100 FPS with some micro stuttering here and there, compared to the insane lag and 10-second stuttering on Ultra.
Ultra coding is just messed up right now. Ubisoft say you nee...
Edge are one of the hardest, most brutal reviewers around. If Edge says it's good, it's good.
They have like half a dozen 10/10s in their entire history.
More PC footage of The Witcher 3, The Order etc.
