Halo has never been good.
It has no variety and nothing interesting happens.
Only console fans will be adamant the downgrade hasn't happened.
My instant reaction was "Downgraded. Doesn't look as good as it did at E3 last year."
But hey, console idiots can't "tell the difference" between 900p and 1080p, and think anything higher than 30 FPS "ruins the aesthetic", literally the single, dumbest thing said ever.
More dull Halo where nothing is different in minute 7 than in hour 7.
Wouldn't call the visuals "spectacular".
Looks like Forza 5, still jaggies on the textures, the crowds look poor, the detail on the track looks pretty poor, but the cars look great.
And still only 30 FPS.
Already the new CoD looks like a Titanfall and Battlefield clone, with for-dumb-people auto targetting grenades. What a joke.
Saw nothing in the reveal that suggested "next gen".
This is a pretty disgusting comment.
First off, this is a blatant DayZ ripoff. Have some bloody respect for DayZ instead of being a console fanboy. DayZ paved the way for this genre, and RUST and H1Z1 are just cash-ins, and pretty bloody poor ones at that.
The only reason you've said this is because you think PS4 is better.
Second, H1Z1's animations are pretty damn poor.
Third, DayZ is in pre-alpha. H1Z1's beta...
I can list the decent games on PS4 with one hand, using maybe 2 fingers.
Seriously considering selling mine.
Indie games I get on PC for like £2, not at £12 a pop. Games like Don't Starve are so much better on PC it beggars belief. The controls, the UI, its just better.
It's there.
Console crowd is too blinded by The Order's graphics to care.
Seriously considering selling my PS4, as there's no good games at all so far that I have been chomping at the bit to get my hands on.
Any good games so far are out on PC as well, so I've been sticking to those versions.
I thought only PC players cared about graphics?
In 2014, with the tech available, anything under 1080p and 60 FPS is unpleasant, especially when you're used to 100+ at 120hz.
I have more hours in Ground Zeroes than I do for Second Son with 2 play-throughs.
Sorry, couldn't resist.
Complaining about Ground Zeroes' length is idiotic. There's loads to do, find and see, and then there's the numerous objective challenges. Try the game on hard where the guards wake up after like a minute, and THEN tell me it's short.
It requires you to think. But hey you're a console gamer so these kind of gam...
So what you're saying is;
"I want to excited about this amazing, revolutionary, genre-leading stealth game, but I hate stealth games."
Go back to Infamous and other rubbish.
If a game comes out on consoles, the PC version will always suck, as the engine has to be written for bull***t console hardware.
Consoles ruin gaming, and PC users get shafted on multi-plats.
Anyone that thinks 30 FPS is better than 60 is an idiot.
And that's why I'll have my PC as my main gaming platform. 30 FPS is just horrid when you've experienced 100+ FPS at 120hz, so the FPS has to be high to get the 120hz PROPER smoothness.
30 FPS being "fine" is just the excuse console idiots have come up with to make themselves feel better, after they realized their precious consoles aren't anywhere near as powerful as they tro...
Oh look it looks nothing like the reveal screenshots, downgrade confirmed.
Thanks consoles. Enjoy your 30 FPS bull****.
Could have been a stunner on PC.
Because the new consoles are very underwhelming, and fanboys don't want to admit it.
DDR4 is barely months away for example, and the consoles won't be using it at all. So all the advantages DDR4 can bring won't be used AT ALL in games, because devs only build engines for crappy console hardware.
If it were done right it'd be much longer with a better story.
I expect this length of a campaign from a game WITH a MP.
PS4 fans desperate to justify their lacklustre hardware purchase = easy money for devs.
All they have to do is slap "HD" on to a game that did well last generation and bam, sales fly in.
"Haha 60 FPS proves the PS4 is powerful."
Err, no, it shows its' capable of running a slightly modified PS3 engine at twice the FPS but no higher.
So you think it's amazing they can get old engines to run on newer hardware at 60 FPS?
Okay....
Check it out man, I was running Half Life 2 on PC at like 200 FPS yesterday. My PC must be SO POWERFUL!
