It does in Bayonetta, which actually DOES have a mode like that XD

@TFJWM Wow, I'd be up to reading that, that's a fascinating topic of discussion.

I haven't played FO4 as a girl yet, I'll have to make a new file :) Also, since they added the gender perks, girls have always been slightly more effective than guys, since male enemies are more numerous and it allows them to take better advantage of them.

Exactly.

I do the complete opposite: I usually make my female characters more action-oriented than their male counterparts. In Fallout, for example, I will use a gun-based, long distance male sniper, while I will use a bruiser melee/unarmed female. I dunno, I just love the image of a girl exploding a guy into a shower of gore with one punch XD I also played a Renegade female Shepard in Mass Effect, but that's more because Jennifer Hale sounds MUCH more commanding and no-nonsense than Mark Meer, so...

Yeah, cause it's irrational to expect anyone to buy the PSVR over the price of a PS4, when you could buy the Oculus over the price of a much-more expensive gaming PC.

If anything, if the combined price of the PS4 and PSVR is, say, only around $100 higher than the Oculus, I expect PSVR to gain the PS4 a decent amount of new users it wouldn't have bagged otherwise. And if there's confirmed PC functionality, even moreso, since you'd kill two birds with one stone ...

@DragonKnight Playing around a game's bugs is never a viable option. We shouldn't have to deal with the game this way in the first place. A more sensible solution would have been to suggest downloading a mod that corrects the bug. Nexus has had it for a while already. Hell, the Unofficial series of patches the fans come up with are much better than anythibg Bethesda comes up with anyway.

@RegorL Hey, I'm not saying it's wrong to like a game. If you enjoy it, more power to you. But as someone who played the beejezus out of the BRILLIANT Battñefront 2, I found the newest entry in the franchise severely lacking, and quite a large number of the fandom agrees with me. But like I said, I'm not gonna criticize anyone for liking the game, I'm not here to be anyone's killjoy, I'm just govong my opinion.

I agree with the article. Consumers speak with their wallet, and if we keep supporting a company's games blindly regardless of quality instead of making informed decisions on our game purchases, we're facilitating that behavior. If a game you bought is crap, selling it back to Gamestop won't discourage EA, cause they already made their money.

But regardless of that, EA is still not the worst gaming company. That's Konami. At least EA doesn't treat their em...

I'm afraid that's not an option. Many PR gamers have no internet connection to speak of, let alone one fast enough that they can comfortably download digital games. PR is also overwhelmingly tech-dumb, making physical media-based consoles the more popular gaming choice and PC gaming a really small niche market composed of the more tech- and money-savvy consumers. What will happen is that gamers will buy their games in chain stores like Wal-Mart, Sears, Best Buy, etc., and their game o...

"Seems like a huge disparity in social classes more than anything."

You inadvertently hit the nail on the head, my friend. PR basically has no middle class anyomore. People are either stupidly rich or generations-long welfare families. Imagine an island-size South Central LA circa 1991 and you get an idea of how badly PR is doing.

The middle class in PR has disappeared bexause the cost of living, abusive taxes, government corruption and lack of jobs...

I live in Puerto Rico too, and I think you're VERY misinformed about how money works. Yes, US chain stores make a lot of money here when they open, but that money is charged on credit cards by people recklessly head-diving into debt. Money moves in Puerto Rico, but it doesn't move anywhere constructive.

GameStop does a lot business in Puerto Rico, but the overall costs are too high for the company to like. Import of goods is expensive, taxes are through the roof, etc...

Rename this article "8 pieces of speculation we pulled out of our ass" and it'd ring truer. Why people are already talking about the next generation of games when we're barely two years into this one baffles me. Game generations last between 6-8 years, this is beyond premature.

My main point of concern with this controller is how comfortable it is in your hands, cause that ball shape looks rather uncomfortable and possibly slippery. IMHO, you just can't beat the double grip design.

This was a smart move by Act/Blizz. They just acquired their own big pro gaming infrastructure which they can now tailor to their games (which let's face it, other than League of Legends, are the biggest games in online gaming already) and they can scrub the immature image of MLG into something more professional and sportsmanlike.

It's simple mathematics and a perfect example of chaos theory in action. The more variables you have at the beginning of an equation, the more chances for it to go wrong. In today's boom of open-world sandbox games, and especially in the choice-heavy western RPG type, these kind of bugs at launch are practically impossible to avoid, and it's a heavy reason why player feedback is so valuable for developers these days. Of course, this is all within reason: the atrocious initial stat...

While I disagree with you on MGS5 being GOTY, I will not disagree with you on it being a technical marvel. The game ran smooth as silk on all systems and was amazingly resource-light. That FOX Engine is no joke. I can't wait to see what Kojima and Co. come up with for their new studio tech-wise.

A game as ridiculously huge as The Witcher 3 which also happens to deliver on story, setting and gameplay, should never be disqualified for a few technical issues. If Bethesda games are not disqualified, neither should The Witcher 3. If it were completely broken, like, say, the PC version of Arkham Knight, that's a whole different issue altogether, but CD Projekt Red have been hard at work releasing contant tweaks and patches to get the game running like it's supposed to

Are we seriously having this conversation NOW? This gen is not even halfway done and 2016 is gonna be a crazy good year for gaming. I'm not even thinking of what next gen will bring.
