Well, TM games were never about acurate vehicle physics. They were actually quite laughable in TMII/Black, but strangely I loved the controls.
The simplistic graphics made making out the enemy from pretty backgrounds easier when your barrelling all over the place.
Im curious why Sony didnt have a Twisted Metal game for the PS3 YEARS ago.
LOl..You obviously never played Twisted Metal III Shubhankar.
But Jaffe wasnt involved in it.
LOL...Beat me to it.
Guess I was lucky.Because my old 360 I bought in 07' never died on me. If it did, they had that warranty extension in effect.
I love good journalism, but after a visit to this site....
I skimmed the titles in the archives. Everything was either anti MS or Pro Sony. EVERY article!
If i wanted to read articles with blatent bias,i'd subscribe to the NY Times.
Well Strote, as someone who owns a 360S, I'll accept your "Pepsi Challenge".
First of all, a feature on a game system you feel may add $100 of value easily, doesnt mean its of the same value to someone else. I dont own any BluRays.Actually I havent bought a DVD in almost a year.Netflix works well and I have 300 hours of DVR at my disposal. I'm just not into owning movies like i used to be.
Now I am buying a PS3 this year and once I do so we will rent a few ...
OK..No Speed Buggy, but I'd love to see dune buggies in the game.
And it would be some killer to lay down a victory with the Weinermobile.
Teabagging would have nothing on that!
This has got me thinking though.Imagine if GT5 or even Forza offered DLC "movie cars" in the mix? Batmobile,Back to the Future Delorean,Ghostbusters...etc
That would be kinda neat.
Im just glad Kanami Warriors or Heavy Barrel didnt make the list.I used to beat both of them with one life....and had alot of fun doing it!
Yeah,Gauntlet was a great example of a "quarter sucker". We used to throw them in too just to continue on.
Thats one reason why alot of older games were so hard for sure......
Its actually saving around 30 bucks.
360S $299.00
+ $10.00 (Halo controller is 10 bucks more)
2nd Halo Controller $60.00
Halo Reach $60.00
$430.00 is what I come to.
Seems kinda pricey to me.
You just need to aproach CL like any other service where unidentified people are offering goods to buy or sell..With caution. Im a car dealer and have bought quite a few vehicles from CL. I check caller I.D. numbers, scope out the neighborhood first, bring a friend, ask questions, etc.
Just employ common sense.
Theres always going to be a bad experience you read about.
Alot more people get burned by much less violent means on CL.Like buying somthing thats a P.O.S.,fake,...
If you setup your gaming zone in a real small room, maybe ALL motion controlled devices isnt a option???
Ive watched my nephew play the Wii at his house with his buddy. The Wii boxing they were doing required a decent amount of "floor space" for both of them.
Come on guys, isnt this getting kinda picky? You think your going to swing a virtual Move sword 3 feet from the TV? Sometimes criticism is warranted, but other times I get the feeling its just another...
I think the author of this piece is really jumping the gun.I agree that if preorder sales are promising,Kinect has a chance to do some damage. With the POTENTIAL it has,Kinect could do some wild things in the future. But if MS doesnt broaden its appeal past parlor games, its destined to be a dust collecting item on top of your TV. I'd like to think someone there is aware of that, but someone thought Virtual Boy was a great idea at one point too.....
Nobody knows whats going to hap...
The only difference is with the new SKU's you can plug Kinect into the 360 for power. If you have a older 360, you use a seperate power cord.
They have said it works with all 360's.
Yeah thats the part I dont get Evildead. Your right about these band games. They cost as much (or more), but no one is bothered by the pricing. My nephew paid more for Beatles Rock band than what Kinect will retail for.
???? Those larger hard drives are around $130 by themselves,so it is more expensive than a 250GB 360 S but only by 30 bucks or so.
Im not going to be judgemental. I dont own a Wii and when it came out, I didnt think it would take off like it did. Look at it now.
I dont call anyone stupid for buying one. If you enjoy playing Wii Sports, I think thats great.
The market will decide if Kinect or Move has what it takes to survive.
The Wii did bring people into gaming that never have before.I bet some of them may have even "crossed over" to games you may enjoy too.
Assuming of course a great (and supported) game library is made for it sooner rather than later, I think the Bundle isnt a bad deal at all.
The stand alone model needs to be 20-30 bucks less IMO.
Its going to be a better deal to "join forces" with someone wanting the new Arcade model. Just pay for $100 of the bill and nab the kinect.
You call making me wait almost a DECADE for another installment of metal mashing mayhem, being "in tune with their fans"?
