Pay closer attention to all motion control ads.You dont see someone 2 feet in front of their TV waving a wand or Wiimote around.
Go watch the promo video for Move on the Playstation Move site (Has a cool "bust a move remix" playing BTW that I must find!). Anyway, the "living room" the actors are in is comical in both size and lack of furniture.
On topic.I thought the kinect ad was very good.I actually recognized what most of the people were playing by the...

I dont think i need to read a review by a 20 somthing on Kinectimals. What little Timmy and Sue think of that game is all that matters IMO.After all its a game for little kids like my 6 year old daughter. Just like that Eyepet thats never discussed here in any fashion good or bad.....Funny aint it? ;)
As for early games that likely wont "suck" for Kinect....Dance central and Child of Eden are two that come to mind.

Quite alot of similarites actually from about the 3 minute mark on. Things like not having obsticles around you, lighting preferences, etc. Also note the picture towards the end of the video showing a supervised child, in the LARGE room thats free of obstructions, and is about to enjoy a game. Companies play CYA all the time with instructions, warnings, possibil ites...etc. ...

Why do you and several others here love to bash Kinectimals? Obviously its not a game geared towards teens or adults. My 6 year old will love it.BTW, Is Eyepet "hardcore"? Move also has "try to dance" games too. You honestly think it will be better holding a wand or two as opposed to the game grading your feet movements too?
I can see familes getting into Kinect. When my wife and kid have their fun petting Skittles, dancing, and joyriding, I can still blow things h...

I got it last night.I like the campaign and agree adding No Mercy was a nice plus.Fun level, but not as difficult as the Passing IMO (I got through the Sacrifice on my first run through with just the AI to help/hinder). The finale was very brief. Playing the "upgraded" No Mercy was cool too. I'm going to give it a go on Live tonight, which is always more fun.
Nice playing as Bill again!

Theres a largish mall I went to Saturday with the wife that has two Gamestops. Both had plenty of Move's in stock.

No..the one in that movie looked like a 70's bus. This one is a early 21 window Bus and they are worth some bucks now restored. cant imagine what class you would race them against though......
They are laughably slow stock.

Thought the North American market was closer to 50% of WW sales.Still 40% is a significant chunk.

IMO the PS2's abilty to play DVD's WAS a big draw to the system. It was only about $100 more than a DVD player then and played games too. DVD was such a leap over VHS its not even funny.Bluray? Yeah its certainly a evolutionary leap, but not a revolutionary one IMO.
I think Sony attempted the same business model with the PS3 but it didnt go over as well initially.
Most of my friends had PS2s for their first DVD player. It was my DVD player in the living room for quite...

Wish they launched this new one with the 360S though.....

Girls, like just about any other form of "entertainment" (IE doing things outside of work for pleasure of some sort), will likely be far more costly to you than 60 bones a year. Seeing as you two seem so "concerned" about every penny, you might want to consider buying a 360 and becoming a shut in. The first date alone may be DOUBLE what a year of Live will cost.

And if your that strapped for $$$ that its a question of food or video games today, I would t...

You can cite percentages all you like,10 bucks more a year is still only 10 bucks. You likely spent twice that today if you didnt pack a lunch and drove somewhere.
Thats a far cry from suggesting that a "mere dollar a day isnt that bad". An additional $300 + a year is significant. Were talking about 10 bucks. Start a thread if its $300 more OK?
Your underwear gnome logic is baffling.

BTW, Do you complain when a loaf of bread goes up 20 cents??? ...

Well ive already taken advantage of the $39.95 renewal when my account expires in November,so im good for the short term.
Not happy its going up 10 whole dollars a year though.Where am I going to find that extra $1.20 a month in 2012? /s
Seriously people,if your already commiting to pay for Live, whats another 10 bucks yearly?

With a new Twisted Metal coming (finally), having Twisted Metal II as the next "free" game would be good for PS + and the TM franchise.

I think they both look good. I have a 250GB S, but I wouldnt care if it was glossy black or not.
Both look alot better then my old white one.It reminded me of the color most computers were 15 years ago.

As bad as Super Mario Brothers was, I think Doom was worse.

I would think the biggest reason its sales may suffer is timing.Doesnt it come out in Jan 11'?
Thats as far "away' from the best season for video game sales as you can get isnt it?
