First time ive read/seen anything about that Youstar 2 game.That looks kinda fun actually (im a big movie buff).

Thre is some hypocracy afoot here. I recall a few articles based off some U tuber claiming his 360S died, and certain people didnt question the validity of it.
Now we have this article, and people want stats and figures.
Whats silly though is nothing got bashed in this test...Except maybe the older SKU 360 which died.
What I get from this is a PS3 or new 360 properly ventilated, shouldnt have a overheating issue and both manufactuers put in failsafes in case this wa...
They will only give you about $60 for the 360 itself now.It was $100 during the promotion.
I got $100 for the 360,$30 for the 20G HD,and 5 bucks for the headset.
The only drawback was they called me the last day of it and informed me I had to turn my old one in EARLY to still get it.So I went a week and a half without a 360.
Got mine late last week too with a trade in deal. Replaced my 3 year old 20G Pro. Ended up paying about $40 over buying a comparable HD for my old one.
My obersavations/comments:
It is quieter. Didnt really realize how much untill I went to my buddies house and played his a few days later. Was my old one that loud?
Blows warm air out of the "top" vent (I leave mine laying flat). No problems running hot or anything.Then again my old one ...
I dont think so.MS now has a SKU at the PS3 pricepoint thats arguably "comparable". No BluRay but larger HD, Wifi included,etc.
The neat trick is going to be what the other SKU's have that are coming soon and how much they will be.
A $199 model with a HD for example will attract some attention. Especially in this penny pinching economy.

LoL good post. I understand where the article is coming from as far as being more "fair"...But life isnt fair, why should online play be any different concerning peoples skill level? Sure you can try to level a playing field to a extent like controlling cheating etc...But peoples skills or ability to memorize the maps?
Somebody has bought that same game as you and from day one and does nothing but eat,sleep,chug Red Bulls, and play it.

I just got a call last night and picked up my preordered 360S. Nobody has any of them in stock locally.
Not trying to defend MS here, but if they are sold out or "not available online" at a few major retailers i checked, then its certainly going to have a effect on how many are sold right?
Im not sure the EU has even gotten the 360S yet.Isnt its launch date like the 16th?

I just picked it up tonight to see what all the hypes about. Looks like alot of fun.
Some reviewers are not a fan of a certain genre, and I always take their opinions with a grain of salt.But if several reviews conclude that a game is "broken" somehow such as crappy controls,really bad A.I.,etc...That usually will weigh on my decision to buy it or not.
These Amazon articles become irrelavent so quickly.
I just searched bestsellers in the videogame catagory and the 360S is at 9th,120GB PS3 is 10th,and a Wii with Sports resort is 13th. 1st thru 8th are 4 Wii games, RDR for 360,RDR for PS3, and two PC game titles.
Cant everyone here just be happy the PS3 and 360 are kicking the Wii's butt?
I still would yes. It costs me about 3 dollars and change a month to have the service (based off 40 bucks a year which isnt hard to find).I would spend more than that eating solo at Mcdonalds.
The One vs One Hundred game is fun, the wife likes it,we get cross chat going with friends/relatives playing too, and that game alone takes the sting out of 40 bucks annually let alone the other features/benefits.

The damage controllers and people rubbing other peoples faces in it are nothing new here.Last year when the Slim launched with the lower price tag,there were articles EVERYWHERE posted.The comments ranged from honest,enthusiastic fans to "PS3 will outsell the 360 worldwide by Xmas 09'". The later was grossly optomistic then IMO as that didnt take into account that MS would just sit there and hand Sony the big W.

My 360 S has not arrived yet at Gamestop,but I had to trade in my old 360 earlier this week to still get the trade in deal which has since expired.
They are telling me now July 9th is when its due and im 3rd on the list.

Well I have enough disposable income to purchase this service and Live. Currently only have a 360 but a PS3 will "be under the tree" this holiday season.Im old enough that December will be here before I know it..Comes too fast usually ;)
Because of this,I found myself spending more time looking into the options Sony has like the Plus.A firm annoncement of Twisted Metal and a casual interest in a Blu ray player for the family makes me think its time.

I went into a Kmart about a year and a half ago and was reminded why Walmart/Target is cleaning their clock.
The "electronics section" still had old Game Boy/Game Cube displays up (that were filled with different items).
The store was old,understaffed,and kinda dingy inside without being filthy.
