Thumper was in Twisted Metal 2 even though it doesnt state it was. His flamethrower hurt you very quickly if you got caught in a corner.
Too bad Mr Slamm didnt get any props.Always liked playing him in TM2.

The old save system was a double edged sword.I mean sure you had to start over,but you got to keep how strong your character had become.

I think author is trying to read too much into it.I translated it as MS being happy with the current 360 and the S model. Even though we know production has shifted to the S, as long as the "old" ones are on store shelves, the PR will speak highly of them too.
I got this deal.I paid cash down to reserve it and am just waiting for the new shipment to come in. They are giving me $100 for my old 360 and $30 for my 20gb HD.
I think the guy told me they normally pay $80 currently for a 360,so you get at least 20 bucks more if its going towards a 360S.
I'll just keep using my old one till I get a call.....

Not going to argue your point,but TECHNICALLY anything over standard 480i resolution is HD, and this is the first gen of consoles capable of more than 480.
Exactly. if I had the best selling portable game system,why would I bother trying to bolster the competition?
Without knowing how much the bundles will be for either company or even knowing what Kinect will cost, seems a little premature to compare pricing to me......

Consoles arent considered portable devices like laptops or phones.Does it really matter if this one shed a half pound or that one is now a inch or two shorter?
I personally wouldnt care if the new one was larger, so long as its better built and gives me more value for my money.
More on topic, opinions about how it looks are just that.I never thought my 360 would win any beauty contests and didnt buy it to do so.

My best friend has a 360 thats a month younger than mine (Sept/Oct 07'). Our power supplies are not interchangeable even though they look the same. The part where it plugs into the 360 is slightly different.
We found that out the hard way one night when I brought mine over without the brick one night.
Yeah..TM2 is pretty much the sole reason I still fire up the PS2 nowdays.
I own every TM game (except Small Brawl), and TM2 is still my favorite.
I literally used Twisted Metal 3 as a coaster because it was sooo bad.
5 Reasons I ordered one:
1) Needed a larger HD.The 20GB doesnt cut it anymore.
2) Occasional disc read error that requires tapping top of the 360 when it acts up loading a game.Will it get worse? Who knows?
3) 3 year warranty about up
4) The Gamestop trade in deal doesnt make it much more expensive than just buying a standalone 250gb HD for my old system.
5) I dont use wifi at home (for my console),...
If this other SKU coming in a few months has a HD included for 200 bucks,I'd wager MS will have a good holiday season.
The deletion of the internal memory is interesting. Maybe the next "Arcade" units will have a HD from now on?
Or at the very least,come packaged with a MS thumbdrive.
I dont see it being $249.95 by itself. Imagine the anger preorder people would have thinking its $150 and then asking for another benjamin on top of that.
Now a "Arcade" 360 with Kinect for $250.00 sounds more likely......
