Well its certainly been the Kinect title we have played the most.Its alot of fun.
Kind of off topic but the Kinect works really well as a alternative to using the headset too.10 feet from the TV and it hears me talking in a normal voice.
Yeah. take Left 4 Dead 2 for example.Single player on it is 5 hours tops technically. But the replayabilty in multiplayer is where the game shines.

Ehh.Saying Portal 2 is Valve's best game ever seems a bit scripted and self promoting. Considering its their next big game coming out, its like he HAS to pick Portal 2.
Dont get me wrong though, i'm a big fan of Valve games.
Its not a gimmick if it motivates you to keep jumping and punching.Its boring to just jump around.That would get old quick. Making it more interactive and fun increases the probabilty you will continue to excercise.

Articles like this are made because alot of mommys and daddies ARE NOT. They may know that you dont take junior to a rated R movie, but assume video games are "toys" and ignore the "M" rating on a game.

We threw a "Kinect party" for my daughter Saturday on her birthday.Friends/family and such.
Sunday, two familes that were there went out and bought a 250GB Kinect bundle.
Theres no hypocracy IMO.The Wii is seen as a family friendly console, and a game that calls for two gals going at it (among other things) doesnt fit the template.
Im sure the marketing execs felt that the potential sales of it here wouldnt outweigh the bad publicity.
I wouldnt want my daughter playing it.Or my 12 year old niece. But I have nothing against adults enjoying it.Hell, with the right crowd I wouldnt mind playing it myself!
