You can see why the infamous "videogame" crash of the early 80's happened. Too many different consoles and the public lost trust in which to buy (get the wrong one and you had a obsolete POS inside of 6 months). The NES changed all that.
All those 70's consoles were basically Pong or Pong clones not counting the 2600.The 2600 was the "Wii" of the day...Except people played them alot.Maybe the "PS2" of the day is a better description?
Grea...
Another thing they failed to mention is you need a PS3 on top of the Move device.Since its pretty obvious this is a "guide" for the videogame uninformed, it would have been important to mention it like they did with kinect.
Wheres RDR? I mean it has sex on a table scene with a full frontal follow up.
Seems odd to have a Jan 2012 release date this far in advance. Why miss the peak game buying season by 2 months?
Thats a good point.I mean theres usually world premieres at E3 that will launch in 2011 for example, and thats not untill June.
More on topic..First ive seen You dont know Jack making a comeback. They were always fun.
Cool.Thanks.
Sigh..PETA. Local morning radio show used to have a annual Bass fishing tournament (not sure if they still do). But they started it in Norfolk VA right in front of a PETA HQ thats on the water.
If someone ever discovers a vegetable can feel pain,I guess they will all just starve.
Santa is getting my daughter one for Xmas along with Kinectimals,Joyride, and Dance Central.LOL shes going to have a video game Xmas because we just ordered Plants vs Zombies for her DS too.Better than tripping over more Barbie dolls!!!!
I know some demos come with Kinect, is your Shape Fitness one of them? I'd like to try that one.
No argument there slick.I was just commenting its a older title compared to the others on the list.
Interesting that RDR is up there considering it came out 6 months or so ago (I bought it the week it came out).
That being said, it was a great purchase.
Uhhh..Is Telus owned by MS? If not, MS isnt giving away anything.
I could give out Shell gas cards at my dealership, but it doesnt mean I own a oil company now does it?
Its nowhere close to being finished. The Wii has a huge install base and I doubt the PS3 or 360 will ever hit those kind of numbers.
Heck, they barely best it now COMBINED.
Its funny. The Wii has dominated for years and now that Wii sales have dropped to ONLY being around what the other two do, its "finished"?
The only thing slowing down Nintendo's momentum is Nintendo IMO. Price hasnt dropped much at all since launch (especially compared to Sony),and ...
Agreed. TM2 is one of my top 5 games of all time.
You never know.Thats probably about the price the retailers pay MS for one. Cut out the middleman!
But yeah, I dont think they would do this permanently.
Being someone who has owned 7 Z cars from a 240Z to a 350Z, I appreciate all the Nissan love the game brings. But its a Japanese racing game and Nissan is the company thats had its share of sporty cars.
Found it odd that theres no 10' Mustang or the new Dodge Challenger though.
Holy crap. Someone has a Toyota 2000gt!
Those are worth some $$$.
Went to our local WalMart last night.First time I saw any Kinect items in stock (excluding games). All they had were 4GB bundles though.
"Santa" used Amazon last week for a Kinect and im happy. Its number one on her wish list this year.
EDIT. Not counting the marked up prices, both Kinect bundles and Kinect itself are currently sold out on Amazon. They even have some sort of disclaimer stating its in high demand...etc
Actually they both did.I found a "longer" clip on youtube with that Ellen Kinect segment. She gives all the audience one after her dance number.
Sweet intro! Note to camera guy.Invest in a tripod or at least put the camera on a few books or somthing.....
Had bad "Blair Witch" flashbacks watching it at times.
LOL..I loved my Colecovision. First console I had where the games looked pretty close to their arcade versions.
