You weren't playing at launch then.
Yeah, 20 million accounts doesn't mean a whole lot if we don't know how many actually put time into it.
A while after launch I was checking player counts on Steam and FH4 was usually right there with FH5. In fact, looking now, there's more people playing 4 than 5 right now and the last 24 hours. 5 has double the all time peak though.
4x?
Don't forget Last of Us is going to be on HBO.
GT would be good for a Motor Trend series, but that'll never happen.
Yeah. I had the most fun raiding the bandits for supplies and building the roads.
Penalties are part of my pit strategy.
GT7 is tough, but at least it's fair and doesn't just try to get in front of you to slow you down.
I'd prefer a new IP as well, but I liked the first one well enough that I'll consider it.
Pretty bummed out they're not going to make a Wreckfest 2, at least not for their next game.
The first Motorstorm was the only game in my adulthood that drove me to want to break my controller. The rubberbanding was such bullshit. I'm in the lead, full use of boost and as soon as I let off the boost, I think it was the semi with the least amount of time with boost and not good on whatever surface I was on, and it comes flying by me, which should be flat out impossible. They pull over in front of me and lay on the brakes. That happened a lot late in the game. Plus stuff like ...
Dragged out across multiple generations propped up with the profitability of microtransactions?
Probably this, but I don't remember how they did it before. Either they had different lines recorded depending on player gender or it was never an issue, because how many times are you going to be referred to as him or her when you're the person they're talking about being that you're the main character.
Yeah, I think Forza has a much better shot at this year than Hellblade does.
2023
@Obscure_Observer
"Well, unless you know something we don't, Sony (so far) has zero NEW first party games set to be released in 2023."
Marve's Spider-Man 2 is scheduled for 2023.
"So I would be careful before run my mouth. Those "issues" can hit both sides."
I think there's a difference here though. We know what most of the MS studios are working on. Sony, we don't.
"There’s always going to be more distractions at home"
There's way more distractions at work than there is at home for me. I've always got people coming up asking something, want to chat, and noise all over. At home I can sit and focus on my work and not deal with most of that. Instead of someone coming to my desk asking something, they send a Teams message I can avoid long enough to finish what I'm working on.
You must not have played the game during the first 6 weeks or so.
@viktorFTW
People weren't angry about the MTs? You don't see reduced rewards as a part of the push for MTs? Being not forced to use MT (and when are MT ever forced?) isn't the issue.

Gotta love that after all this time, I fire up the game for the new season and it loads the placeholder season stuff. So you sit through the loading, then showing the map with all the "new" events popping up on the map. I exit out and then it loads the season again with the correct info to sit through all over again. Every. Damn. Week.
