No thanks.
What was there that needed to be censored?
Not needing to include odd/slow transitions from area to area gives them more freedom in level design that wouldn't have been possible on older systems because of the slow loading. FF7R wasn't horrible with them, not like that last Tomb Raider making you walk slowly through mud for like 20 seconds (seriously, just give me a loading screen at that point), but they were still there.
Damn those impossibly high standards, like a viable game that doesn't need to be pulled from a storefront because it's such a mess.
This doesn't even really seem to have anything to do with loyalty anyway. Sign up, complete tasks, earn rewards. Loyalty to FOMO, maybe?
A remake that actually is built from the ground up.
@ClayRules2012
1. I was being sarcastic.
2. Sony hardly shows off anything anymore. God of War? We've had 2 trailers (not counting the logo reveal), no gameplay. TLOU1, out in less than 2 months, we just got the announcement not long ago. No gameplay.
As for the rest of the Sony studios, there’s little known about what they’re actually working on. We’re coming up on 2 years since launch of the PS5 and we know of like 2 PS5 only games from Sony stu...
Every time a game is ready to be sent to have the physical copies produced.
Gameplay? The game is less than 2 months away. Why would they show off gameplay? Everything's a big secret with Sony now.
Thanks for this comment. I couldn't wrap my head around what he getting at.
Example #1 below LOL.
Welcome to the club.
Did Demon's Souls have a PS4 remaster?
"They definitely now working on multiple projects."
Yep. TLOU1 and TLOU2 multiplayer game.
@Sensorchip
"Ok. Sounds like somethings bothering you. Why do you care what other people buy? At least Sony makes games people can buy."
They could be using that time and effort into making something new.
@lucian229
"Last of us 1 is made from scratch all over again. "
It very clearly isn't. They're reusing the same vocal and mo-cap performances, but updating the facial animations. The camera angles are being only slightly tweaked. The level design was already done. The story and dialogue was already written. There may be some tweaks here and there, but none of that is being made from scratch all over again. It's mostly updating the graphi...
They also did this with Horizon Forbidden West's collector's editions.
Then it'd also make sense to just not even include the steelbook in the first place.
A blu-ray disc literally costs a dollar to make. A steelbook case, which most people seem to agree, is absolutely stupid without a disc certainly costs more than a dollar to make. If being cost effective was the point, they'd just leave out the steelbook case.
I recall something along those lines being fairly widely reported with some games and rest mode not working. Some would act like the world would end if you used rest mode. I never had any issues on the games I had, thankfully.
