No they shouldn't. But people put up with it thinking they'll patch the game to fix the problems. Problem is, that rarely ever happens anymore.
It really doesn't bother me, much. They're holding back the game to polish and fix it up. If they didn't and just launched it as is, they'd get ripped apart for shipping with the problems like all these other developers have lately.
I think they were sold out within the first week. I had one, used it, and after about 4 months I quit. My subscription was paid up for like another 5 months so I sold it on ebay and actually made about $10 after factoring in the money I paid in subscription fees for WoW and shipping.
Sounds reasonable to me. I don't see how anyone could make a complete review of an MMO without getting deeper into the game.
I agree. I've been a huge EA hater for years, but the last couple of years they're really turned things around. Sure they still make a mistake now and then, but everyone does.
Looks like Kotick should be looking in the mirror when making that claim.
Pure non-sense.
You run a FAR greater risk of damaging the disc by handling it twice every time you want to play a game.
Heat would be a relatively low risk inside the console as well. CDs get much hotter inside a car stereo and they hold up just fine. With the heat inside being at acceptable levels, taking the disc out to cool it off would be worse if you're all that worried about it. Slowly cooling and heating anything is much better than having it heat up or cool o...
You realize the game was developed in Canada, right?
I don't understand iPhone only apps. Android is the most popular smartphone OS.
Sorry, if I hardly ever play online as it is and don't use any of these "added features" the price isn't justified. I'm not going to support a price hike that results from added features I never wanted in the first place.
Great. Adding features I don't want and now I gotta pay for it? I barely ever play online as it is. Might consider canceling.
Is there going to be a new standard guitar made by MadCatz or are they just using ones already on the market? I was trying to find a RB2 guitar for a friend and they seem to be getting hard to find, which leads me to thinking they stopped making them some time ago.
The site is goofy. Got an error when I hit submit, but it shows the order as submitted under my account. But I haven't received any email yet.
I can see it being predominant form of media distribution, but will not totally replace it. Too much of the country doesn't have access to high speed internet. That may change with cellular service, but there will be those who chose not to have such a service and/or want to have physical media for games they've purchased.
I quit doing midnight releases. No point. Stay up late, get home with the game, fire it up for an hour at best and then have to be at work in the morning or I wind up sleeping in way too late if I took the day off. Why? Might as well take the day off, get there in the morning to pick up a copy and play the game for hours while not feeling sleepy.
Modern RPGs are an insult to classic RPGs.
Was it analog before? Guess I wasn't paying attention.
When did this get delayed?
There was a huge thread over here too. After a while, a friend I played this game with finally got a 360, so we both repurchased the game on the 360 to avoid this hassle. It was pretty obvious they were going to ignore the issue. A few months later, I went back to the forum to see what had gone on, and the thread was just deleted.
I want a refund for the PS3 version since the chat never worked.
Don't worry. Dan Greenawalt and the others will be spouting off these same comments in interviews as soon as possible, just like he did for Forza 3.
