I was seeing a lot more subtle color tone shifts during cutscenes since the patch. It's almost unnoticeable, but it's like the color warmth shifts back and forth all the time. Sorry if you can't unsee it once you've seen it.

Shouldn't be, but being that there's many different versions of the same bot, I could easily see myself not bothering to scan some normal base machine, like a Scrounger and not realize it's a different variety I haven't seen before.

The edge glow that characters have in cutscenes is a big distraction for me. Lighting the character from non-existent light sources is fine, but the edges of the character being white is just too much.

Yeah, I had one scene where the hair was just going nuts all over the place.
I do wish they'd make some other tweaks because it just feels like the hair has no friction and just floats and slides across her shoulders too easily.

That’s a part of why I’m done with UbiSoft. That game pissed me off on so many levels. As noted, long AF. A lot of bugs, including a game breaker near the end. Takes too damn long for them to address them. A couple large sections in the southwest area that were devoid of any wildlife to hunt. Treasure “hoards” consisting of a single cosmetic item. I really don't get the love for this game. The controls feel kind of clunky. The target locking sucks. Peter doesn't seem to run very fast, his guns feel like water pistols (good eye roll from me when he took out a bad guy or two with single shots in cut scenes), I'm on chapter 9 and the story isn't all that interesting. Time trials seemed way worse than the no gun run.

The HDR options are just odd. The brightness setting really only seems to make the not-entirely-white parts more white and losing detail in the process. Leaving it at default does seem best.

I just wish the characters didn't have such strong hero lighting in the cutscenes. They just look like they're glowing so damn much from a light source that isn't there.

Bug fixes and next-gen versions don't matter?

To add to what JEECE said, backwards compatibility is probably a significant factor as well. Can't play your last-gen disc games on a system without the disc drive.

Agreed. The other thing that annoys me is the publisher incentivizing people go digital as well. I mean, I can't fathom how stupid it is for HFW Regalla Edition to have a steelbook case, and no disc. Forza Horizon 5 only made the standard edition of the game physical. Deluxe and Premium digital only. GT7 is offering more credits to pre-orders depending on which version you buy. Etc...
